DE is a great profession to make money, just not ungodly amounts in. I usually keep myself between 700k and one million credits. When I dip down low I just head to Coronet and sell my droids via the brochure selling technique for a couple days till I'm up again. In Coronet money is King and as such there's always buyers willing to pay for my on-the-spot droid construction services.

I don't make diddly as a novice Droid Engineer. I refuse to sell droids at a loss so I just build practice, no item for experience. A few of my droids sell, but honestly most droids I see out there for sale are less than 1 credit per resource unit. My resources cost me a little more than that.

So I practice in hopes of one day becoming a Master Droid engineer and whore myself out as a Bulk resource salesman when I get low on funds.

Well how much (to the guy on Shadowfire in Brenn) Do you charge for seeker Droids? I am on the shadowfire server as well but im just outside of theed. So that makes two Droid Engineers on the Shadowfire server and both of us are on Naboo. LOL

The typical pricing for Shadowfire back in my day (gasps for air as his rocking chair moves forward) was about 3k to 5k for a crate of seekers. Towards the end, I was selling crates of Seekers for 5k and Probe Droids for 7.5k, on my little house on the hill. At those prices, I would makea run of 200 of each and would typically need to restock 5-7 days later. Then again, my shop is considered to be in a high traffic are, south of Bestine on the road to Anchorhead. Not sure what its like now.

Give Agli a tell in game, he will be able to fill you in a little bit better. It wouldn't hurt to contact him in general, since I know that he has been working on getting a list of the working DE on Shadowfire

For the statistics:

Before I stopped selling in person, I would shout my wares in coronet and make 80k-200k a day for 7 hours of roleplaying in coronet

Now days, I make 1.5-3mil a day selling medical supplies with my 2nd account and probably 10-25% of that would be from droid sells.

Suggestion for you guys with vendors, besides using the planetary advertisement, get together with others to make a mall like shoping center. Folks usually setup PA as malls or a large or medium house. With the higher amount of traffic from those who like the 1 stop shopping, your droids will begin to sell. For me right now, my little shop carries my droids, medical supplies and spices from my friend. It helps a lot since my shop waypoint is printed on all the stim B,C,D,E that I sell on the bazaar =D

Started an attempt to sell by person, but people kept asking for stuff i can't make, or stuff that doesn't exist (one asked for an R2 with sensors... sounds like a cool idea by the way, just don't know what the sensors would be for).

And the disappointment on their face when I tell them the fugitive tracker droid doesnt actually track fugitives. They laugh and feel better once I tell them it's good for molesting leia with. (who else wouldn't want to molest leia with a probe droid).

One guy wanted a probot, I showed him mine (40% light armor), he laughed at it and said his storm trooper can whoop it.

Another wanted a medical droid that heals him. Another wanted to buy a droid vendor (??). One guy wanted a droid that can repair, he left when I told him they can't repair themselves. Man, it's a hard job. Only reasonable ones I had were surgical droids, and I sold like 2.

Yeah, so I think I'll go back to stuffing the bazaar and hope I sell lots.

It always fluctuates,I average 30-40k/day but to be honest I don't really try to sell them. I could probabally make a lot more if I put more effort into selling. Also I only sell via custom orders or from my vendor, I don't sell droids on the Bazaar due to the price constraints.
