1. I like crafting.

2. I wanted to be able to make something that would make up for my weaker combat skill as a crafter so I could enjoy both aspects of the game (for once).

Didn't work out that way.

But, I've invested most of my in-game time working toward DE so I'll do it for a while, and if it schtinks then maybe I'll give it up.
