How about the fact you pull a Kaadu out of a datapad?

Sometimes we have to sacrifice realism for convenience. And in the case
of inventory management they made it very easy for us to deal with.
Changing it will just make the masses angry as we're all cheap and would
have to make 20 trips just to move some stuff around.

Is anyone else bothered by the inventory system in this game? I don't know about everyone else, but the lack of realism in the inventory really bugs me. Why is it that we are able to carry 50 couches just as easily as we are able to carry 50 marbles?

I would love to see a differenty system in place for this game. I would love to see a system simmilar to the one Ever Quest uses. In that system, your overall strength affects how many items you can carry. Also, unless you have a backpack, you can only carry 6 items aside from whatever you are wearing. Now I am not saying we should move storage down to such a small number. What I am saying is that it should be made much more realistic. Clothing we wear should affect how much we can carry. If I have pants with large pockets, than I can carry more items etc. Also, pet mounts should be able to carry a certain amount of items. They have saddles don't they? Why not saddle bags? If you need to move a large number of items from one place to another, than you couldbuy or "hire" a large mount to carry your items for you. Huge items like houses and furniture should not be able to be moved by a person under any cercumstances. Droid engeneers are able to make a droid called a Binary Load Lifter. Currently it serves no purpose, but if people were unable to carry such large items, than a huge powerfull droid should and could do the job for them. This would give some use to these droids and a market for Droid Engeneers.

It's nice to be wanted, even if it is 'Dead or Alive'

Hi,

I know this topic has posted itself alot of times now on this forum, as i could see when i searched for that subject.

But none of the posts i found gave me a clear answer.

I currently own a YT-1300 ship, and i was wondering how many items you can put in this ship. I've seen in alot of threads that the limit is 75, but that's wrong, because I just dropped 2 filled backpacks and some other stuff in that ship, so it's definitely more than 100, i just don't know how much more.

Another thing: is it possible to place vendors in a multiship ? I know this souncs rediculous, but can't you create a vendor when you're in a house with the terminal, so you have the vendor in your inventory, and then drop it in a ship ? That way you can use that vendor for storage...

And one last thing: If your ship gets blown to pieces, what happens with the items that were stored inside the ship ? Do they decay ?

Sorry if this are noobquestions, but i really want to know this

thx

200 items in a POB.

Vendors, not 100% sure, but I seem to recall reading that it can't be done. Someone wanted to put a "bartender" in the lounge of their YT and couldn't. That was a looong time ago though, but it likely hasn't changed.

does the 200 items take away from how much can be held in the loot box.... ie. 150 items in furniture and decoration but then can only hold 50 items in the loot box
