Forgive me if this has been asked / answered before...
What is the difference between a level 1 storage module and a level 2? I assume it holds more than 1 item? How much more?

Storage Module Capacity
Level 1 = 1
Level 2 = 2
Level 3 = 4
Level 4 = 6
Level 5 = 8
Level 6 = 10

That can't be right, can it? I seem to recall a Level 1 storage module holding more than just 1.
PS-Where's the **edit**ing EDIT button?

Not "Droid Storage Compartments".
"Level x Droid Item Storage Modules."
"Level x Droid Item Storage Modules."

Make sure it's the item storage module with the level number as part of the name, the other one is for Architects or for making coloring tools for droids.

it will work as an item storage module even if you don't rename it. it only looks like a data storage module. it really is an item storage module.

They should fit into virtually any droid... Droid modules like the Item Storage ones simply fit into the module harnesses which most droids have. Notable exceptions would be things like the R2 basic, which only accepts a socket cluster or the Binary Load Lifter, which accepts no modules at all.
But any MSE should be able to hold the item storage modules.
