I'm going to leave it up to TH and Drashk. From what I read Drashk is trying to do the right thing against against the odds.

I will say that TH needs to share the details of the plan with us NOW. It's better to swallow the bitter pill sooner than later.

C'mon man Hook a fellow DE up.

Oh and sorry Ack-Ack2003 for your thread getting hijacked by this rather unusual bug

Have you already given away your stuff?

Reading this thread..I knew there would be one

Knock Knock; Colonel Master Pikeman/Teräs Käsi
-=RAID=-
Napan - Jedi Knight
Player Bounties

This is the weapon of a Jedi Knight. Not as clumsy or as random as a blaster. An elegant weapon for a more civilized time. For over a thousand generations the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the dark times, before the Empire.

I think this thread presents the strongest case for allowing DE's to command (all) their combat droids.. seems like all crafters take up some sort of combat class to allow them a break from crafting or provide protection during harvesting etc.

There area few crafter classes that can use what they make without any additional professions needed.. and there are a few crafter classes that can't.. Personally, I'd prefer to just be an MDE, and have my droids do the combat for me.. but itlooks like most of the vocal DE's want me to have to master some sort of combat proffession to use the more powerful droids..

I must say though, from what I have seen in game and read on the boards, if I was to master TKA (for eg), I wouldn't need droids.. they'd just slow me down in fact.. giving the best combat droids only to elite combat professions will only make them able to solo more insane stuff.. while the people who actually need this kinda stuff are left running around with their pistol IV's or whatever...

Allowing DE's to be like CH (but still vastly different.. MCH can walk out somewhere, tame a CL 70 pet and use it.. a DE is going to have to be a master crafter to get their pets!) can only add to the enjoyment of the profession, if you ask me.. and then I wouldn't need to play something else to enjoy my chosen profession to the max.

Bless you Jaxom. I was worth a shot. Not yet.

When I first bought the game I signed up for a year, thinking "I will playing my Jedi nonstop for years to come. I know SOE wont put the screws to me," or something like that.

For now, my holocron and 1 dual force crystal will sit at my house on Tattooine, waiting for the mynocks to circle and pick my carcas or until my year runs up.

You know, handing a force crystal to a DE is like giving my 3 year old the keys to my car. In 13 more years, he can drive and daddy can be a jedi.
