Blunderheart will just appoint someone no one has ever heard of....

I havent seen one new corresponant appointed in the last 6 months that i have ever seen post on the forums they supposdly represent.

I think the Correspondents Board could use some Breakdowns™.

Not that i will ever see them. But to know they are there would make me feel a lot better already.

It's for that very reason why I'll be surprised if TK gets the job... although I think he's very capable of doing it. The scene from A Few Good Men comes to mind, you know... the "you can't handle the truth" scene.

Well, if he does that the poor unknown has one hell of a greeting a-waiting for them. I would hope he would not be that cruel or indeed misguided.

Failing that, I suppose I could take over the DENet on Ahazi if need be.

As for TH picking someone we've never heard of, thats the precise reason I started this thread, to try and prevent the random appointment.

Okay, then....to be clear:

Yes, I am interested in filling the available Correspondent position andlook forward to the opportunity to do what I can to move droids and DEs forward in a positive direction (if you all are comfortable with me taking the position that is..).

He's always been there, behind the scenes. I sense in him a yearning to return to his post (Note: I like double-puns). Woody? You wanna try to make a return official or what? If not, it's all good. I can probably fulfill my 'post' as DENet / DEA head...it will just get more challenging.

At some point, I imagine I'd want to hand off to someone else anyway. That's always been the plan. Both Woody and I want DENet and DEA to live on long after he and I have gone the way of the dodo.

Send a PM to TH and see. He's said several times that a lot of the correspondants got their position simply because they took the initiative and asked. If they want you, they'll take you, if not then they won't. That simple.

Personally, you were the first person I thought of to take over when I read the job was being vacated. A lot of us here want you to do the job it seems, so you've got to decide if you want to do it. If you do, stop wasting time and throw your hat in the ring

Nope...at least I don't think so. I've been on TheForce.net but I don't post on their boards (at least, I don't remember having done so in the past months and/or years).
