Publish 8 gave DEs some great new utility modules. One of these modules, the structure maintenance module, has a major bug that renders the droid useless if triggered. We have irate droid customers posting on our boards every day about this bug. Is there any way to fix this before the space expansion? How difficult would this be to fix?
my vote. when will the new modules be fixed, and work as advertised.

After reading my question I posted last night, even if I think it's good, I have a feeling it wont be asked so, here is another one :
I can understand that the people that build droids must be engineer, but why the people that wanna buy and use a droid must be engineer too?
In simple word, stop cryptic stats.

Although stats on droid deeds reported correctly is definitely the professional question. I'm going to go our on a limb and be the DE/Fencer that I am with a combat related question. When can the DE be expected to produce combat-capable droids that can actually be of real help in combat? Is there anyway to introduce the idea of a combat droid that could only be used by a DE? (like CH's with their CH only pets) The idea of DE's with droid control ships in JTL sounds crazy, but it think of how cool it would be.

The answer to that question Ishyck will be "wait til after JTL". I am very interested in combat droids and JTL droids but they won't answer that at this time.
I was just trying to think of a question they might give a straight answer to.

I'd rather ask them if Droid Deeds can be donated to ships in JTL and be active when ships are launched instead of using droids out of players' datapads. And such droids should be subject to destruction like any other ship component and replaced by donating new droid deeds. Also like to see the number of droids that can be donated to a ship be six to ten for the YT-1300 and one for all the other single-player ships.

Let's not ask about JTL related, since its obvious we won't get any sort of productive answer. Same thing about any "big" issue that would require a separate publish (we got our love- welcome to the long dark winter). Since crafting professions that are in good shape have seen enlightened responses to questions asking about specific fixes to specific issues (Tailor, Architect), we should stick to that.
Asking about Structure Maintenance is important, but would make us look silly. Since TK is pressing it already, and we already had one shot at fixing it which we as a community blew, I think this too would be a wasted question.
Asking about a deed fix would be nice (I would include something about listing a skill requirement for installed functions) but again, looking at the things they want to accomplish before JTL, I don't see this as a "small fix"
The problems with conversation droids have been annoying and long standing and seriously hamper sales. I could sell Item/Med/Foodchem Surgical droids forever, if they worked. It is an issue that has plagued us since well before our publishes and has never even been addressed.
At least asking about Conversation droids gives us a chance to see if getting them fixed isn't too hard (as it seems to my mind) or will let them tell us its more complicated than we think and would take too much work to fit into the schedule.

Here's an odd question:
Is the 'Column Formation' command supposed to work on droids that have been 'friended' to you?
For example - I was out with 2 people's Probots, an R3, and my own Probot, all had the same column formation voice command, when I gave it only my own obeyed. The others would obey their stay attack follow commands.
In a related topic, was it intentional to give people you have 'friended' your droid to access to the 'transfer' command? I tried to give my own Probot to a friend and accidentally gave him somebody's R3 as well. /boggle
this realy does not belong here but are you shure it was the exsact same command Column and column are 2 differant commands.
My Question is how Difficault would it be to reorganize our Crafting tool to be more Efficant TK has great Ideas on the arangment?
or if that is to Broad
I would go with, How difuicult would it be to fix the Conversaton Droids (Mods and Names)? Better Yet how hard would it be to put the real Stats on Deads and/or atleast the Certs for specific mods?

"Droid Engineering is a profession that has a huge number of subcomponents. Oftentimes, there is wastage when we do factory runs. The results often are small crates of good components that litter our inventories and houses. Is it possible to implement a "repacking" droid module that combines identically serialed crates into one crate? It would obviously help in reducing clutter for all crafting professions. Possible?"

That's not a bad idea Handsnake.
Here is another to toss out there.
"Is it possible to make the other Droid chasis more usefull? Currently due to module restrictions and data pad Droid limits, a huge majority of Droids are Advanced R3's. This is boring and lacks versatility."

FIX the droid naming issue! its been on the books way to long! It should not be that hard to fix. It did work before.
