Thread: Anyone tell me the best way to level this profession?

Ok, first get some heavy gas harvestors -- BER 13 if possible. You will want 400k of inert gas. Next get some heavy chem harvs again -- BER 13 if possible. You will need about 350k known inert petro chem (I think thats the name, cant recall).
All you need to do is grind out Droid Repair Tools.
Oh, yes very good. Tell him to drop a couple hundred thousand creds on harvesters, then pay to run them. All to grind something that isn't even in the game any more. Very helpful.

They will be ba ck in the game on Tuesday. That gives him 3 days of harvesting to get the materials that Sodan suggests.

Sodan, after spending an hour or so reading the 'chuckle for the smuggler' threads, I have to admit, you crack me up even moreWay to go!
Thanks, David. But which thread do you speak of.I frequently forget when I spew a line of bull even if others find it memorable! lol!
Of late I have tried to be more constructive. But when faced with bullcrap like that from the original poster you have to respond in kind. ANY time I need information on a different profession in this game I read all their stickies then ask questions. ANY time is sign up for a new discussion board or list, I usually lurk for a bit before posting so I don't drop a steaming pile like the one what's his name poo'd out to start this thread. its basic netiquette folks.

The next time someone drops a load like this one, I'm going to tell them that they need to harvest 10k of hide for MDE droid upholstery.
Well I was assuming he just needed to grind up to MDE. If he actually wants to make high-quality droids, then yeah he's going to need lots of hide for the upholstery. Don't forget the Talusian Hardwood for the burled finishes and all the various crystalline gemstones necessary for the advanced electronics components like the GPS and holo-changer, too.

Don't forget, Kollos. If you include thise materials in advanced droid chassis, you get EXTRA exp. This will make the grind faster. That's why its important to START with gathering these resources, so when you hit blueprints 4 -- WHAM -- you can just go crazy with them.
Also a lot of people don't know but, going up 0040 first is a good way to start. The customization tree gives LOTS of exp from colorizing droids. Screw blueprints 4.
Thanks for ther tip on the holo-changer. Duh! I forgot that whole R2D2 holographic display thing.

Sorry, I'm a Master DE and a Master Artisan, and I somehow don't have this schematic. If you're being sarcastic, admit it and move on, the joke was lame to start and has only gone downhill form there.
I'm not being sarcastic. If you follow my advice,as set forth herein, you don't have to read the stickies.
Now that said, a lot of people find that reading the stickies is very helpful; and indeed, there is great information therein enshrined. Plus, you don't piss of the natives by askingfu*cking questions that we hear evey god*damned day. (not that I feel strongly about it)
So take my advice: you don't have to read the stickies.
LOL now we have really confused the lazy one.
That's sort of why I said to grind manipulator arm package sets earlier...but I like Sodan's version better. ![]()

eh, I consider MSE mouse droids a DE's best gind item...all the way to Master![]()
I really don't know why there is so much mis-information in this thread...it's almost cruel.
Thank you Javelin for being the only honest one here, MSE from start to finish is THE ONLY way to do this right.
Please TK, would you replace the totally misleading sticky thread with this one, deleting the wrong answers and just leaving the ONLY TRUE information there is here....MSE all the way
Thankyou, and may all your problems in life be less than that of a DE in this game. ![]()

Yes, but make sure to make Level 1 Item Storage Modules to go in each and every MSE Droid, too, so that you can get at least SOME return for all your grinding. MSE Droids with Level 1 Item Storage Modules sell like pre-patch hotcakes on the Bazaar.
Good point, I made my living out of MSE with a Lvl 1 storage module. People cant get enough of them, and with the new 'Crackdown' its essential for every player to have her/his 'secret pocket' free from that annoyingly frequent 'bodysearch'
Quit spreading misinformation. I'm trying to save this person some time. If they follow my advice, they don't have to read the stickies.
