First i would like to state that i am not a holo grinder ......i am doing this because i want to heh. I have always wanted to try out DE, so i ask the veterans......what is the fastest and easiest way to master this profession? Resources and money are not a problem by any means. Can anyone help me out with what to craft?

Not a holo-grinder? Well you didn't fool me.

Quote me on it 3 months from now with a MDE tag I can see, then and only then, will I believe you, and say sorry.

Stickies man, stickies,

(and if you are what you say you are, you have not made a good start..gently we like to be woo'd, "Gerremoff" does not work here )

well i know it is, but as far as FAQ's go, most of them are bull**edit** answers. So this is why i post, to get responses from actual people playing the profession, not from some dev, or from someone who once was the profession.

As for the holo-grinder response, u dont know **edit**.......and until you do i suggest you keep your mouth shut. I have mastered 15-20 professions without use of a holo, i see no need. I have another account with the FS slot already open(again without the use of a holo), so i could really care less about getting it again.

The first post was smart ass, which i dont mind cause....hell, its the forums. Second one was kind, and i thank you for your help, and the third one was assuming things.....which i cant stand. If you dont know........dont say a damn word.

You may not have liked by answer, but the answers are there, if you can be bothered to look for them. They are not out of date, nor written by somebody without any knowledge of the profession. In fact, not much has changed with DE since beta, so a FAQ written day 1, would probably be just as accurate.

If you lack the patience to even look at the stickies, I would venture to guess you won't last long as a DE.

I would almost take offense to this statement, if I wasn't in such a gosh darn good mood today. I'm the person who wrote the 'bull**self edit** guide that you didn't care to take the time to read. It has been stickied to the top of this forum for over 2 months and has almost 15k views. The intinal post was pretty well written on its own, but the 5 pages of responses almost cover every single problem that you could come across while on the grind.

Might I suggest that you follow your own advice about not saying a word about something you know not about.

Contemptuously,

Drashk (Ex - DE Correspondent)

P.S. Here is the link on how to grind to Master DE.

LOL, on top of what Drashk so eloquently said, the original poster seems to have a huge issue with holocrons; but it doesn't matter : both a Hologrinder and the original poster have the same goal - to grind up DE as quickly as possible.

Look, forget about the stickies : just make MSE droids until you can make Manipulator Arm Package sets and grind those till master. It's very easy.

This was ALL that was needed to be said.

I read threw all of the sticky thread, and it is one of the best written i have seen from any profession. I didnt mean to insult you drash, was simply making a generalization about FAQ's, which i still think it true. I have postedonsomeof the different forums, more or less as a test of the profession responses and overall friendliness. Most of them responded nicely with a simple explanation like audios for crafting, and for combat, many people share their experiences and explain which path they would reccomend.

So far this is the worst reply i have received from any profession. Some of the replies like Drash's were meant for good i can understand, but some are just startass response after smartass response after dumbass response. I guess my second post worked in getting a rise out of people heh.

Someone said before, another person grindin up the class with no clue on the profession(loose-quote), well i know that friendliness and helpfulness would be a good start, as it is in every crafting profession that i have done, which is most of them.

Anyways, i just hope you people dont take **edit** to seriously, i laugh every time i read these forums as most of what i post if just to see if people WILL take it too seriously, then the joke is on them......

So, basically, you're saying that even though you weren't considerate enough to read the FAQ and other stickied information, we should all smile and say "Thanks for not listening to us, here's your info"?

Most of the veterans here tend to help those who help themselves (or at least attempt to help themselves).

If, after you've read through the sticky posts, you still have questions, I'm sure most of us here would be more than happy to answer.

Man, I am tired of the negativity on these boards. Don't listen to these old burn outs ! Stick with SODAN -- he will guide you through!

Ok, first get some heavy gas harvestors -- BER 13 if possible. You will want 400k of inert gas. Next get some heavy chem harvs again -- BER 13 if possible. You will need about 350k known inert petro chem (I think thats the name, cant recall).

All you need to do is grind out Droid Repair Tools. Keep grinding till MDE! Start with the harvesters first -- the gas ones, that's the most important part.

Let me know if I can help you out any further! Ignore these a-holes! A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!
