Any veteran knows level doesn't mean anything.Scylla is pretty small, we don't have many new people.I find it far more ironic when I shuttle into a city and get banned or hassled because "I may be a bounty hunter," yes that is me, fear the level 7 Bounty Hunter.
Yea, it usually is a newb... I love the ones that are convinced they can teach me things or help me level fast...

I always responded that
"I'm rated #1 in the GALAXY!"
I always got a laugh on that.

Look on the bright side (yes, I know, DE dont get much bright-side anymore), I guess its nice to know there are people out there willing to talk to new people, and maybe even help them. It can make a HUGE difference to new people if they are sorta mentor'd by someone. Lets face it, all problems aside, this game is huge and complex. A person can get overwhelmed pretty easily.

This buggs me more than people think I am a n00b, one guy ordered a droid and he acted like I had no clue how to make it. He kept saying use your best resources, experiment all you can etc. etc. anyway I went off on him a little that I have the "MASTER" title. He shut up and got his "good" droid. However, I cant beilive some people disregard the Master titles and think I am a n00b since I am a level 14
You cant really count that....
with the numbers of respec crafters and people grinding straight to master you can never know if you have someone who knows what he's doing...

I think that RSF guard would release me because he'd think that I was a n00b.
"CL5? Move along, move along."
Sometimes I wonder if even half the people playing really know how to play the game. Someone offered to GIVE me all their space loot. I told him he could sell it but he didn't believe me and that I should ***following is censored because it is long and rude*** so I took the loot and sold it at 1K per level. Instead of reporting him, I came back and told him I made 200K off his loot.
I'm always ready to help a new player as long as they play nice. And there are alot of new players on Chilastra.

This is from the Adventure Manuel for Star Wars Galaxies (alot of it is outdated by now but it gets the jist of things across):
"The Gungans call any newcomer to their swamps "newbies". The Gungan word has spread across the galaxy, and now describes anyone who is new to an area or even a job - A "newbie" could be someone who doesn't know the local customs yet, is still learning the lay of the land, or has just started building blasters for the first time. The moment you stepped off the shuttle, you were a "newbie"."
newb, noob, n00b, n00by, and new1 or some other variations to the word for a new player. The latter word (new1) is used mostly for someone new to a guild, group, or to an event.
no you missed the point, i used to know much about the various profession but now if you ask me anything about them, rifleman for example, i couldnt tell you much even though i was a long time master in thepast. either we are all veterans or we are all noobs in the cu.
