How much clearer did it need to be?
There again, that question specifically relates to the stacking issue. To be clear here, there are two requirements for someone to be an exploiter. The bug has to be confirmed by SOE as a bug andyou have to know that they identified it. The reason for the first is obvious. The reason for the second is that you can't be exploiting unless you know what you are doing is wrong. Just because you think something is a bug, doesn't mean that you should call someone an exploiter for doing it. Anyone who read THs message on 12-05 and who made a stacked cluster droid after that is an exploiter. Anyone who read THs message and made a droid with clusters in ageneral slot is not an exploiter. End of story.
"Stacking of cluster modules was never really the issue, that's just how people phrased it. The issue was ALWAYS the ability to place cluster modules in general module sockets - stacking clusters was simply a side effect of that issue."
It was an issue ot a small minority existing almost entirely on these forums....it's almost a mark of those spending less time playing and more time complaning on forums that they are 'community veterans'.
The exploit was nested clsuters...but due to a small set of whiners on these forums it got translated into all clsuters are evil and all clusters got nerfed. Can't fault SONY for not listening to their forums, just wish it were economically feasible for them to have refereed home drug tests administered to all those posting in the forums they plan on paying attention too.
Moan all you want about Droid eng, SONY is implementing what they can of what you request...and as it turns out, it's the requesters themselves who are truly to blame for what this trade has become...
Droid Handlers? Please, step away from the bong.

As it turns out the community veterans of the Droid Eng forum are the biggest problem with the Droid eng profession and likely will continue to be until maybe they quit the forums and start playing again.
Droid eng, like all trades, was never supposed to be a standalone existiance in game, yet you all continue to moan about changes designed to make it that way..this cluster change is just the latest example. I repeat to any from SONY who actually monitor these forums, I'll provide my paid master droid eng account to any dev responsible for coding schematics. Please come get first hand experience on how this profession plays out before making any changes recommended by anyone on these forums with a 'community veteran' tag on there name. It should be a badge of shame after the successive patches incorporating bits they reccomend net you more negative feedback and less subscribers...

Right there at the top of the Droid schematics.
Here's your sign.

Try looking at the very top of the list of items in the crafting tool. It is now listed under its own heading as an Accessory. (Not 100% sure on the tools heading atm. I'd check, but I'm not near the game right now.)
By definition, the use of any game bug, whether 'officially' listed as a bug or not, for ones own benefit, or for the benefit of others, in a manner that is not intented can be considered an exploit. The Q&A on the Cluster Mod that TH posted a few months back may have not been 100% clear on the use of the module, however even the vagueness of the statement suggests that both uses were part of the bug. The Weaponslicing bug was never confirmed by the DEVs until after a patch was on its way and multiple people were banned for its useage. Common sense dictates that if a game system is implied as being part of a bug, which was the case of the Cluster Modules, then it would be best to avoid the use of the item in question.
