Thread: What are your current prices and will they change with publish 7
/boggle...
Why are we talking about publish 7, when publish 6 isn't even live yet?

Icatipev, good news my prices are right in line with yours, except one droid. The Probot it is one of the few droids that actually has an inherent function, which I know is supposed to change. I sell my probots for 25k with either the medical or item storage, and they sell like theres no tomorrow. They have a market because they have a high HAM, can be loaded with Armor and are a good tank. I don't think you are charging enough for the droid. That is my view of it, and being on Kettemoor, I think you can raise your prices and make even more profit.
I guess you are right, your argument about the inherent function of the probot makes sense. To be honest, I never really thought about that. Maybe because all other droids lack something like that.
And if my customers complain about my prices I'll direct them to you:
"MachineZed told me to raise my prices! I had no other choice! He treatend me with words like "I don't think you are charging enough for the droid.". I was FORCED to raise my price!"
I can't imagine selling a R3 for 70k. I would be poor as hell on Starsider.

I've noticed a huge increase in sales today for Droids with Item Storage also. I hadn't sold anything in 2 weeks, and today I had 5 emails for Droids and a few /tells. I was like, wow. But the main thing seems to be the Item Storage Compartments. They have to have that Item Storage on them. Hmmmm.
As far as mixing modules, I've always held a belief in that you should not be able to put 2 of the same module on a Droid. You're right. That is cheating and cheats the MDE out of his own. I don't care if 2 level 3's equal a level 6 or whatever. That should only be reserved for the MDE's who can make level 6 modules. But, right now we don't have a lot to put on a Droid. Why have 5 slots if you can only use 3? I also believe in only putting modules in the correct Droids. (ie. Med modules in Surgical Droids, NOT Probots)
Im with a lot of you an pricing chassis first, and then modulespriced accordinly. I used to price based on chassis only, but abandoned that when we started to get good quality specific resources.
As far as the prices changing as a whole with new modules...not likely. Ill price the new modules (if they come about) depending on how I set prices now: amount of resources, rarity of resource, factory parts, inter-profession parts, etc. Of course if the market swings, one cannot stay too low or too high either.

Wow, a lot of you people are waaaay to cheap on your droids. A loaded R3 for 35K? They go for 50K easily if you have a decent location. A BLL chassis for 25K ?
If it came down to that dirt cheap pricing on Kauri, I wouldn't even bother anymore. The time it takes to plan out a run of droids on a factory takes way too much time. In that time you burn making cheap arse droids, you could make 1000 top of the line powerups and make a whole lot more than you could with droids. Throw in a few vehicles and you can call yourself a DE, but never really make any droids because it just isn't worth it.
I have to say it...
I'm very glad you're back. /blush

That depends on what you mean by "loaded". The uber-R3s I made (4 crafting, Med and Item) sell for 100k on Ahazi.
A BLL chassis for 25K ?
On Ahazi, chassis go for about 50-70% of the finished droid price. I tend to sell mine in quantity to good clients for 12k a pop.
