Thread: Is being a Droid Engineer worth it?
This was a great necro bump. LOL
Fits right in with todays theme, and my answer to you is yes. It is worth it. 
With all my comments about DE, I still have fun playing it, and I'm very successful. (over 1 mil in sales yesterday to be honest) and I'm currently negotiating to open up two more shops in which I'll be able to increase sales even more (I'm trying to find a wholesaler for both locations... they buy my droids and resell them). It's become fun... I have a very stocked vendor right now which means I can go out and play more often. In this past week I've gotten more TKA experience than I've been able to do in the last few months. LOL

LOL! I read the top post (but not the date) and was going to respond seriously. I thought this was a recent post. Good thing I scrolled to the bottom and saw "Necro Post"!

Thanks Ackis...To tell you the truth, that's my opinion too. I spent the weekend climbing my way to novice DE on Test Center. Sunday night I kept at it until almost 3 AM. I wanted to get the DE cert under my belt and make my "first" MSE. When I did, I had more fun with it than I've had in the last few months with my Master DE. Me and "Squeaky" ran around Mos Eisley in a victory lap of sorts and it felt just like it did the first time. Being a DE is great! I've tried most of the other professions in this game, but this is the best. There is something truly satisfying about crafting a MSE droid and havingit chase some poor guy around the starport beeping it's poor case off. I haven't laughed that much in ages!
If you remember I had a shop on Rori... that's where you bought your droids from!
