i doubt its a problem if you harvest on talus or naboo, or corellia. Buts its a bit dicier if go to lok or dant, or endor.

I have a fun story, last week I had a spawn of Nargaltches right outside of my house. So I used the house exploit, bleed one run inside. Look out to see he was stopped at the stoop shot him a couple of times ran inside. Eventually one followed me inside some how, but he didn't agro me until I took a shot at him, dumb idea. Took me an hour to get out of my house, only because I gave up and cloned.

Other wise I think I only died once while on a harvestor run

I've been killed operating a factory in city limits (lair spawned while I was knee deep in inventory windows and datapad windows)

I've not personally died on a harvester run. I guess that's cause if I'm alone, and something aggro's on me, I just run (now I swoop out of there).

I don't really worry about this too much. I don't even run harvesters anymore. I buy what I need as I need it.

Less hassle that way (and no death).

I haven't died in a long time. It seemed that earlier in my career, Tuskens seemed to be very fond of my harvesters, and having virtually no combat skills to speak of, removing those tuskens was a bit difficult. Now, however, vehicles solve most of the problem as has been previously mentioned. Also, there hasn't been much in terms of random spawns on any planet on Kettemoor since Patch 6, so that makes checking harvesters a bit easier too.

So please let me know... do you often die when looking for resources? How often? Where? Why?

I'm only a novice Pistoleer and I don't wear full armor (comp helmet, gloves, bone boots) and my DX is not uber so once and a while Tatooine pirates of various types or squills will spawn near my harvesters, but usually only the furthest away from my shop. The few times I have been incapped it was usually because my lag made the MOB spawn on top of me and then I couldn't burst run away or hop on my swoop because as soon as I tried to do anything... ping spike because of combat lol.

Of course, that time that my lag was so bad it took me 30 minutes to travel 2000m on my swoop (rubberbanding) was worse than that.
