I admit to being thoroughly under-whelmed with this module. I loaded a Probot with 3x Combat, and 2x Auto-R. It could not keep up with the damage from 1 scyk, a relativly common Tat pest.

On the other hand, a group of 5 folks, all with the same droid did quite well against a lair of scyks.

ok i see you question about beining grouped. So i will test it out to day to see if you are ungrouped will the droid heal the oppenent you are dueling very good question. Becase we were grouped to see the droids hams bar as they went down.

Also let me share with you guys another test that i performed yesterday. I made an r3 with six combat moduels and it went up against a probot droids with 5 combat modues which is max and the combat modules were not as good as the r3's combat modules.

In the the probot won, with the r3 running away. I tell you what those guys can move. You want you droid to keep have that mug get beat by something, it will split.

So for combat purpose if you want more damager down, the a probot is the way to go, but if you want something tank while you fight, theni suggest, the auto-repair module droid. And LE may eeven be better becase of the hams. but i like the fact that the droid will heal itself, And it is faster than the ham regerantion time somone said. Way faster than that.

Ok thanks for reading.

I created a Probot with 5 repair modules (total of around 95 repair capability). I put it up against a Romp Rat (regular one not the lesser). The rat dishes an avarage of 100 damage per attack. The probot does a measly 1 damage per attack, because it doesnt have any combat modules, but thats ok since its just a tank. The probot was able fight toe to toe with the rat.

[edit] = I conducted the test again, and the probot never lost more than 200 damage off its total ham, only to repair itself quickly back to full ham.

If more than one of these droids were in a group, the droids would be capable of going up against higher level mobs easily.

Only down side is the droid ate a charge of a battery in 15 minutes while the repair was turned on. Having a power droid in the group would be cool to have in these situations.

Droids have become much more specialty oriented than before and thats cool. The hard part is trying to educate the public about the cons and pros of the different combinations of modules.

i figure 1 r3 with 6 of them in a group would go a long way against most critters, add a few droid repair kits and the group will have constant combat support from the droids
