This information is incorrect. + Experimentation is the only stat that adds to Experimentation points. Best not to post if you do not know, some newer players might not know the difference between good information and bad.

And that, my friend, is a ridicilous statement. I *WAS* under the impression it was like that, so to me it was *good* information. Other helpfull people explained it wasn't so.

So your whole post missed the point.

Apologies, but the difficulty arises when incorrect information is presented to refute accurate fromthe stance of authority, especially in a situation where topic of discussion is a fundamental mechanic of crafting in the game being described for the first time to new players. Having an impression of the way things work and knowing are two different things. The + needed to gain experimentation points has been well documented in the past, and is exceedingly simple to test in-game. You presented your impressions as fact, which required the posts of 2-3 others to clarify so that misinformation would not propagated.

Then, if you would have read the whole thread, you'd have seen I bowed my head to people who knew and gave numbers myself. No need to _repeat_ again and again. That's called flaming.

My previous post was not as complete as it could have been, so I do not blame you for having missed its purpose. Take what you will from this, call me whatever you would like, I still think its a good idea to have facts straight before passing information along to others.

Facts yes, speculations no. From my memory, I've read some posts on this and was sticked was that you needed both +20s in assembly/experimentation. Maybe I misinterpreted that post, or was the facts presented wrong, I don't know, but that was what I communicated.
