Kollos, try using a probot that is crafted post patch. My old one crafted prior to the most recent patch does not seem to be affected, but my new one crafted after the patch is using 3 times the power.

It's my sincere hope that it doesn't happen to you and my probot is merely bugged. I should've mentioned that his stats were bugged when I first tamed him from the deed, and his commands have been bugged twice. I guess I should take that into account, it could just be my droid.

That would be just my luck! But it'd be better than a server or game-wide bug!

I had my new R3 out today. Showing off it's new colors. and YES DAMM1T... I picked those colors! lol

My R3 went through quite a few charges today..... maybe3 in a few hours play.

Probots have become unreliable. Nothing like getting ready to do battle. PET ATTACK, DROID ATTACK, ME ATTACK. What? Low power? Oh ok... let me recharge you. What? Oh I can't while fighting. Let me get that battery out as soon as I get over my incap.

Whatever was changed, and I don't care what it was, it needs to be fixed. Droids are becoming a pain in the arse and people are starting to complain to me about batteries. Can we PLEASE call an EG-6 out with our other pets. errrrr... droids I mean.

The sad point is that the Power Droids need Batteries just as much as any other droid. The current useage rate for batteries Has increased, I hear it all the time now from customers. The previous 40 min. was too overpowering obviously.

OK SOE, fire the genius who thought of THAT. Those power droids are meant to power up even fighter Starships! Why do you think there was a power droid in EVERY movie? Because most of the time it was the main battery for things.

Probots are supposed to have some sort of generator as well since they're used as Hunters as well as for Scouting. That's not to say they shouldn't use Batteries but they should require less power than most droids.

Power consumption on the R series should be determined by model. An R2 unit should barely ever need to recharge under normal conditions. R3's should require a fair amount of chargning. R4's more, but still normal charging. R5 units should use the most power and require a battery a few times a session.

And what's with no more charging droids in the Datapad? They're MACHINES. I should be able to put away my Droid then have him charged and ready at a later time (not immediately). R2 only required a lamp with a socket to charge for crying out loud!

first off,

power usage has changed insanely.

they eat more and not anymore regen power inside datapad as before.

also totally rediculous that a power droid which is supposed to produce power with an inbuild power core needs battery charges?

who developpes droid issues? this guy needs to wake up a bit it seems /sigh

very frustrated like most DEs here
