I gotta agree with you on this TK. It would be nice if it took longer for people to crank out droids, most notably, good droids. With luck a reduced supply might raise demand.

Here is my 2 creds worth (not that anyone would pay that for it)
i've been a DE for 3 months. i have made alot of droids and i am happy with the current systm. dont complain too loudly !!
every time a change takes place it fuzzles up something else. and as far as im concerned we have too many broken thing out there as it is. the list of known issues is as long as my arm. lets just concentrate on the things that are broken and leave the things that arnt broken alone.

The problem is that you have several different view points on this. Some like factories, some do not. Some like to hand craft, others do not. Factories save a LOT of time. Esepcially on the subcomponents. I made a combat probot from absolute scratch. It took about an hour plus to make! Factories reduce a lot of overhead expenses if you take into consideration crit failures and experimentation failures!
