Also something to consider is that each faction has a "safe" city on the GCW planets that NEVER changes. Meaning if you are worried, land there, and shuttle to where you are going. Yes it may be less convieniant and yes now maybe an Imp crafter may not be able to go toCoronet, butthis is SWG after all.

I doubt it. In Theed there was some uber nova trooper (was basically one of the Black Hole stormies from the DWB). Medium armor, 65% kinetic and energy. In Coronet there was an AT-ST at one point, though that quickly died from all the rebels coming in. The rebel NPCs in Coronet all seem to have light armor and 11k of HAM. Your not going to want to be going around combatant without combat skills, thats for sure.
And one note to people, if you are logging in for the first time and you were corvert Rebel or Imperial before, you will be marked as combatant, so don't go into a stronghold city if you don't want to fight, make sure you hit a remote recruiter and go on leave first.

No, haven't had this problem...I'll have to check it out tonight, haven't really had much of a chance as the imperials haven't really gotten the ball moving in the GCW atm so most major citys are all rebel controlled.
Funny side note, watched an imp travelling through the center of coro on speederbike the other day. Got shot off his bike as he rounded a set of gardens, I see bike shoot past with no rider, then comes imp, sliding incapped across the ground and smack into a wall. Made me smile
