I think you will find that customization has already changed as a result of today's Hotfix, but all the facts are not in yet.

Apparently there HAS been some change to how astromech customization works.

Doubt it... Personality chips are no longer a component of any non-conversational droid.

Well, they SHOULD be. How hard would it be to make your droid respond with "Beeps indignantly" or "Chirps obediently"? It's a minor thing, but it helps add character. At the very least, bring back the sounds.Silent astromechs just don't sit well with me. Oh well. Least you can color them some now. That's a start.

Has anyone been able to check if color sticks to the astromech droids after the hotfix? I hope it does.
