for a while now I have been saying "weellll the initial plan was Jan/Feb , then it slipped to Feb on Test centre and the first quarter, so I expect June really before anything visable" My idea was to over estimate timscales so as to dampen the hundreds of questions about the Soon(TM) DROID INVASION , but itseems this is more the current plan. I'll have to start saying "If its out by xmas then I will be happy."

Hmmm that gives me plenty of time to drop DE for a bit, do something that isn't as broken and gather enough resources to follow the How to grind your way to master droid engineer thread, I'd be seriously worried if I was a BH right now

You know, it isn't our job to make excuses on the developer's behalf for our droids, but I find myself doing that all the time. I get questions about what our droids do [for that potential buyer], and having no answer for them, I tell them what I read in the forums. I was under the impression that it was partially based on facts when a red name posts. I was also excited just because I would see droids on the streets. I would see them and respect them. Others would respect them. It would feel like I was in A Galaxy Far, Far Away...

Bah. Since droids don't do anything useful for anyone, its up to combat to save the day. And they can't even do that.

I usually tell my customers: "They said jan/feb, but not which year".

Just kidding, but look at poor Thunderheart. He keeps on making dates for everything which are (allmost) allways delayed. And I'm quite sure he got this dates from the designer/programmer/devs.
And I don't want to be bashed like TH, so my answer is usally "sometime in the future" or "after one of the next big patches"

hmm, I would have to say /raishand to that... I have been telling my Guild Mates that combat droids were on the way. But apparantly I was terribly wrong.
