I'm TENTATIVELY charging 3k per combat mod, +1k for socket.

That's in addition to my base price spread and armor prices.

??? Well im gobsmacked, u hear DEs moaning about not being able to make good money when alot of u sell so cheaply!

I can not remember who posted but he hit the nail on the head by saying if u sell a medical droid for say 60k a MD will make his money back in like 10mins wiv Buffs the same goes for every proffesion, If someone buys a Storage Droid for 50k a few missions l8er and he has his money back!

Im Master DE (not wiv this name tho) and i dont sell my droids less than 25k for a normal run of the mill one, So i think alot of u r either very very rich that u can afford to use very low prices or just dont give yourselfs the Credit DEs deserve for a Master Proffesion.

Im gonna make the best Combat i can and i shall start @ 100k c where that gets me i can always drop but its alot harder to charge more if they say "God thats cheap"

30K for Probots, 35K for Adv R3s....anything else would be ripping the customer off.

Please read my thread about the crafting modules being removed from the R2 & R3 droids, this is going to really hurt the DEs when this initial combat droid craze dies down. And voice your opinion.

why is it ripping the customer off?

As long as i inform my customers these arnt UBER Droids and more of a Bouncer, and they willing to pay the price i dont c a problem specially the amount of rescources and componets that go into just one droid!

I always chat to my customers and explain everything to them and *touch wood* the deal has always been done.

The amount of money floating around in SWG is enormous so 80-100k for a droid aint all that IMHO.

Hey guys,

Almost Master on Bria,

I tell u what, ppl pay insane amounts of cash for droids after this patch, ill giv u a run down on what i normally charge (normally its Craft Station+Modules+Chassis+Droid)

(BTW, if ppl r going to pay it then im gunna take it) only using adv probot as example:

lvl4 modules 3000
lvl5 modules 4000
Craft Stations 5000
Combat Mod 10000

Chassis:
Adv Probot 4000

Droid (Final Assembly):
Adv Probot 12000

Now, i also add 5000 for building and 2000 for training, I also send custom emails to my customers for a bit of extra service, never had a droid back, never a complaint, so for all this u would see that I charge 89k for an Adv Probot Combat Droid, well no...I charge 120k, heck, I spent millions on Resources (yes I ground and yes I also made my droids, so I think I hav knowledge) to get almost 1.3 million xp, so dam right I'm going to make it worth my while, not to mention factory runs etc.

But, of course, the 89k would easily cver all that and a lot more, so why do I charge 120k?

Simply because I can, the complexity of these things dictates that I can charge what I think my time is worth, and before you say sure, but u wont make money, I made 500k in 2 hours last night, with a heap of orders still incoming. Also, I dont factory run my droids, only SOME of the components, all hand made, my customers know that and appreciate that (first probot last night crit fail on final assembly but hey what can u do.

Let the flaming commence, I know it will..

I am selling R3's 6x combat mods 2xlvl6 Armour for 85- 95k depending on HAM etcand adv probots5xcombat mods 2xlvl6 Armour 69k.

it is a dog eat dog world out there compaired to the money i was makin on a R2 medical droid 23-26k i am very happy with this publish, i mean armoursmith can demand 200-1mil + architechs can demand 150k+ weaponsmiths 150k+ even chefs can demand good money for crates of food/drink it is about time we managed to bring in some credits.

I just hope that with the release of new shells maybe the R units will not be so popular after all peeps want the best so if i can only fit 6 mods to an R3 and thats the only droid that can take the full 6 mods, thats the droid that will sell, as much as i hate R units running around tryin to tank mobs

You dont think the reason that you can charge these high prices is that the customers expect something along the lines with the battle droids seen in the background and so on? And also, everything new generates alot of cash. I sold ALOT of vehicle cust kits when they first came, for ridicoulus high prices. Now they are rotting in my vendor simply because its not as cool anymore.

My old probots with 110% medical and 97% exp i sell for 55k

The new ones at 1083/1100 HAM 550/550 combat rating thats 143-161 dmg at .73 sec w/armor 6, im thinking about selling them for 125k maybe more.... im not 100% on this.... all I know is that im upset over the fact that they still SUCK.

I made 10 last night and GAVE them away just to see them fight.... im mean c'mon, that was more fun than anything else.

Tonight, ill prolly make 40ish probots with the same stats and see if i can sell them or not... if I can't sell them in 3-7 days then its time that i stop my DE and join the holo whoring.

It's almost NOT worth the time to make half of these things, they cant tank, they are only good for a lil bit of dmg, and after 5 hits they are dead...oooh yea... geee let me make 100 of them!!

*shuffles in*

*taps mic*

I'm a MDE on Chimaera, and I make a profit by selling a decked-out probot for 9.7K That's 6cpu and enough to run a BER10 for a week. In a week a BER10 on a 90% concentration can produce at least 50K units of anything, and if I was to just sell that at 6cpu, that's 300K, or a 290K/week potential profit per probot sold, so I don't understand why people price droids so high. They're not actually that good for combat, either.

I paid 50k for a mediocre Probot with 5 combat modules just for the heck of it to test it. They sold like hotcakes (the shop was full and I had to take the mediocre one as people bought all the other ones while I was checking the stats O_O)

I am not impressed though to be honest... Didn't follow the Droid Invasion ever since I dropped DE disgusted by the DH crap but I thought they would add one or two new chassis types with publish 7 :/

My old Adv. Probot (selfmade when I was a DE ) is level 13 now although it has less HAM and deals less damage O_o

I am a MDE on Valcyn. I'm charging 40K for the new combat probots and 60K for the combat R3s. Pre-patch I've been charging 30K for a probot with lvl6 Medical and a food/crafting station and 45K for R3's with all crafting stations and some storage.
