IMO I think it is SOE's attempt at humor. See Episode II: AotC when C3PO lost his head and was switched with a battle droid's head.

I've got a lot of these too. This is actually like an armoire or something. You can open it, but it is bugged, there is no open command in the radial menu, so you have to use /open . This means you can only open it when placed in a house. By the way I don't think this is such a great thing, you have like 30% to loot one. I have one named 'C3PO after guillotine and repaint', can't do anything better with it

I'd have rather had that as a loot schematic (or the BD's body).

yea, I built a couple of these. Even using the /open command you still cannot store anything in them. I like them, its a nice little decoration, though I didn't realize they were dropping this commonly.

Not sure if anyone's pointed this out, but the schematic doesn't use droid experimentation. Granted experimentation doesn't do anything on it, but you never know... My bet is its using architect experimentation (I know its not droid, any of the ship ones, or artisan). Anyone else notice this?

yes Jenden i also thought it use architect experimentation, because of it being a pice of furniture.

But i am not an architect so cann not be 100% sure.

Anyone see this yet? It is a loot schematic for a droid shell. Not sure if its for all of them, but the one I have is for a Protocol.

Uhhhh....haven't seen or heard of this yet.

Where'd ya loot it?

Does it seem to be a one-use or a multi-use?

Screenie?

Just built one of the new "A Droid Body" schematics.

It showed up with contents 0/50 in the examine window. I tried to put it in a cargo pocket, and it said "this item is too bulky to fit in this container" - just like backpacks when you try to put them in another backpack.

I dropped "a droid body" in a cantina, and I can't open it like a toolchest, or chest, or backpack. Yet, it still says it has 0/50 contents.

So yeah - is it supposed to hold items like a toolchest or a backpack, or not? What's up with this.

And yeah - it shouldn't be animated like the functional Protocol chassis. Makes it look kind of lame to have the droid have no head, yet still moves around. Looks like corner cutting to me, to get the new loot out.

What about the countless defunct Astromechs laying around in places? There are a LOT of "dead" droids sitting around, and they decided to take the head off of a Protocol Droid chassis and make it seem new. Meh, not too impressed, especially that there's an apparent means of storing stuff in this thing, yet no way to "open" the storage area that is insinuated.
