Okay...
First you never "lose" skill points. You allocate points to skills, and you can never give them away to anyone. Skill points are also different then XP (experience points). You can gain combat xp, medic xp, pistol xp, trapping xp, crafting xp, etc. When you gain enough XP of a type (say, medic xp. you gained 1000), you can now spend xp to gain a skill. The skill itself is at a cost of5 skillpoints from your pool of 250 skill points, now that you have already spent the medic xp to qualify.
There is also Apprenticship XP. You gain this XP by teaching another player a skill you already have. You need this type of XP to get Master levels usually. You can always find people shouting things like, "Teaching all Medical, Marksman, Scout skills! please send tell!". These people are starving for apprentice XP from anyone! They need to teach someone skills to get XP to become a Master at a profession.
I hope this explains it all...

But one player came to me and ask me to teach me better aiming for 100XP, i said yes. then my poll points went to 150XP. Thats all i know and mabey i have it somewhere but i dont know where.
Thx Again
hi there
u say you are a novice at each prof
well thats 15 xp points per prof = 90 xp points
which would leave you 160 left plus deduct any other skills you may
of mastered
i think this is were you points have gone ![]()
no... still not understanding...
ok at start u have 250 pull XP and u cant get it more
What are pull points? Do you mean skill points? Skill points are not the same as XP (experience points). If you do mean XP points, what kind do you have? I believe when you start out in the game, you have no XP. You just start with your chosen novice skill, and the skill points are taken out of your pool of 250. Skill points cannot be given away...
But one player came to me and ask me to teach me better aiming for 100XP, i said yes. then my poll points went to 150XP.
What are poll points? Are they the same as pull xp? A player said he would teach you better aiming for 100 xp? Is this a marksman skill? If this is, firstly, yes, a player can teach you a skill if you have enough marksman Xp for it. This XP is spent, but not given to anyone including the player that taught you. You also use up your skill points to get this skill, and that too doesnt get traded to the player that taught you as well.
What does he get out of it? Probably apprentice xp. And that didnt come from you either. Experience points spend to gain a skill is now used up and gone.
Once again, if i didnt understand youe question...i apologize. Perhaps I need more detail from you.

You have 250 skill points. If you learn Novice Brawler - you spend 15 skills points. If you later decide to stop being a brawler and surrender the skill, you can have your 15 points back.
When your a Novice Brawler, you might be using unarmed weapons. To get Unarmed 1 takes 1000 XP (experience points) which you get from fighting.
If you have enough experience to get the next skill, then you go along to a player and they Offer to teach you, or you find a "brawler trainer" npc. When you learn a new skill you loose the XP. You also use some more skill points. If you learn the first unarmed I skill, it costs 2 skill points.
If later on you decide you dont want to have the Unarmed I skill, you can surrender the skill, and get your 2 points back.
hopefully that helps make it as clear as mud.
