Thread: Probot / L10 Pet vs a red dragonet Makes me feel good to be a DE
My commando has only used probots as tanks, and made it all the way to master commando. Of course I used 5 probots, getting only 1 or at best 2 battles per probot before I had to switch. And this was against level 40 Seething Bols on Dant. Probots have always been great meat shields, but for those who cant dish out a great deal of damage, the probot damage is not a help.
With repair kits on a par with pet stims, then we will have a more useful product. However, with the new changes to BE, level 10 pets with damage of 120-150 are possible. And they can have 2 special attacks, including disease or poison. In order to make probots more valuable, the damage has to be increased from the 70-80 we can now get with perfect experimentation to at least 125-150.

I don't know what you are talking about. If anything, you just serve to prove my point.
My point was that I was a Master Droid Engineer, and that I am far from mastering droids.Thatis painfully obvious when I go somewhere like the DE cave on Lok.So in your fantasy scenario, I would be either a Master stock car racer, or a master stock car builder. In either case, why would I be driving a Ford Pinto? Because I need to be balanced against the other stock car racers? That if I had the requisite horsepower, that would be unfair or unsocial somehow? Because your definition of master is "maker of low level stuff that is identical to everyone else's and is useful only to those who apply imagination liberally"?
Revel in your mediocrity if you must. I was under the impression that the point of this game was the opposite of a job at McDonald's. You know, doing the same thing ad nausea and knowing you will never really get anywhere? Making product that is questionableon many levels?Yeah, that's not much fun. Oh, but kids likehappy meals! Insufficiently satisfying.
The game is still in development, in caseyou haven't noticed, people. That means you really don't have to settle. And when the dust clears,we might have something worth the Star Wars license. Until that day comes, I have the right to moan and complain and everything associated with a squeaky wheel. You cannot convince me that droids in this gamedo notneed to be better. Not even by giving me one star.
You read far too much into that line. I simply meant:
Probot = Ford Pinto
Droideka = Stock Car
Expecting a Probot to stand a chance against a Droideka is bit of a reach (much like expecting to win a Stock Car race in a Ford Pinto).
Lighten up a bit. ![]()
