Its extremely important. I have access to 2 factories, and on average I make 500 to 1000 EGPs and EMMs a week. Why? 2 types of BH droids use them, level 6 item storage and medical modules use them. All the personality chips use them. And not just one at a time, some of the schematics call for 3 or 4 of them.And Adv Droid Brains require 4 of each from a factory crate.

Then there are control units. Required for Adv motive system, and ESS. Which of couse is another master artisan product required to make Probots.

Yes you can buy these from others in factory crates. But being able to make your own at will (and more importanty store them in the factory output hopper) is such a huge advantage, I could not see being a master DE without also being a master Artisan.

If you have the skill points spare then get MA - it will save you a lot of time. However its pretty easy to find someone who will make you a 1000 run schematic - which you can then drop into your own factory to make the components yourself. You can pick schematics up for less than 5k.
