you forgot to mention that they will also be immune to some effects including poison, disease, bleed, /warcry or /intimidate. All they need to do now is make a craftable flame resistance module and you could have droids in pvp! (making CH even more worthless)

Justg,

Can you at least explain why us carbineers are jumping for joy over our Publish 7 fixes, while the DE's -- THE FOCUS of Publish 7 & 8 -- are sitting around wondering what happened?

Thanks,

JA

And JustG, thanks for us know you guys are at least lurking our boards. Since we are supposed to have this Publish and the next, we'd like to know at least we're getting heard.

Yup....I tried to mention before...

They ARE watching, everyone. I'm sorry for not being about quite as much but being blue is a lot to take in. I feel a bit like a deer caught in the headlights but I'm getting my feet under me. I have a few threads planned to give my official hello and toexplain P7 (as I see it, thus far) affecting DEs and non DEs alike.

Keep the good vibes a flowing and starting checking all over for new rare/specific resources that you'll need. You're gonna need 'em.

Virtanis, well put and thank you for asking the questions.

JustG, thank you for acknowledging the thread by posting a response.

I've been here since beta and always feel a littlehappier whenever I see red names actually posting on this board.

don't scare the Dev's off.

You just have to remember that the devs are probably more scared of us than we are of them.

It's good to know the rednames are watching, but it would be even nicer to know exactly what's happening with the armor and HAM on droids. Right now I'm not stocking up on any parts because things have been changing around so much, and some people who have stocked up on full deeds are pretty screwed.

I also have an armor-related question... forgive me if it's been posted elsewhere, but I don't get much time to surf the forums...

If Droid armor is being capped at 20%, and this is retroactively affecting all previous droids, is there really a use for 6 levels of droid armor? It's extremely rare to find a non-probot with armor, let alone anything less than 40%. Perhaps droid armor can be restricted to 2 levels, a "light" level (for novices still grinding DE, maybe up to 10% resists) and a "medium" level (for level-4 DEs and Masters, with up to the full 20% resists). With a cap at 20%, I just don't see the necessity for 6 levels of droid armor taking up space on the crafing menu.

I would also submit that this could apply to storage modules, since 2 lvl-3 modules (or a single lvl-6) yield the maximum droid storage.

Great, thanks for letting us know JustG.

I hear that you folksdon't want to post here on the DE boardsbecause of the negativity you perceive. I'm interested in hearing sometime as to why that's the case.

^Obviously, I'm more interested in the answers to the questions Virtanis phrased so nicely.

My question(s) to add would be:
Why have you chosen now to answer (partially) questions that have been floating around this forum for weeks? Is it because he said please?

P.S. TK421, I just saw some deer today running along behind my company's manufacturing facility.

Here's a question that should get an interesting response, if it gets any:

Thunderheart (or Runesabre, or whomever else);

Given the general disappointment that many DEs feel about the Droid Engineer components of Publish 7, can you call it a success?
