Vampiric_Hoshi -

Sorry, I'll be the last DE.

Course, by saying so, it removes pressure from the devs to fix our truely unfinished profession.

I already cancelled after the data module 'fix'. But I'll double cancel it! (just playing until my 6 month subscription ends)

I quit when I saw that we weren't getting any attention in this patch or the next patch. That meant to me that I'd have to pay another $45 in subscription fees waiting to get my desired profession to be viable. It dawned on me that i had already paid $50 for the game plus another $45 for the months i had already played and I felt like a sucker. It was ridiculous for me to have to pay $140 ($50 + $45 + $45) for this game to even start to make my desired profession fun.

My account expires on 10/19.

I'll probably be gone soon if there isn't serious fixes for the DE profession soon. This game is just so incomplete... It was like buying a 5000 piece puzzle of the Grand Tetons, taking it home, opening the box, and only having 1000 pieces in it witha quarterthe pieces misshapen and another quarter of the pieces belonging to another puzzle entirely.

T-Minus one month and counting...

I'll be around around after the 2 of you have disappeared like the rest of them.

It would seem that a large barrel of whine has been passed around here lately. Have none of you seen the post that Sintrosi made earlier this week? Or has the whine turned completely bitter? Yes there are problems with this profession and so what if we haven't had any major fixes. Isn't the whole point of playing any game the challenge that it creates? DE is the most challenging profession to succeed in because there are things wrong with it. To be honest, I really hope the people that I see constantly whining are the ones that are going to quit. It will make the profession only that much better for those of us that are serious about sticking it out and riding out the choopy waters.

Quitting 2/11/03.

There is no challenge in this game once you make Master. Making money is easy, but what can you buy? Combat is poor in SWG, and SWG pvp is naff.

This last patch's QA did it for me ... Not wasting another £10 on this game.

Waiting for a better game and saving money, nuff said.

Well its too late for me fellow Droid Engineers. I've gone and canceled my account, the fee for playing open beta was to much for me. Don't be too sad, I've paid ahead, I'll be around to say good-bye. Its off to greener pastures I go, to a game that just might be finished. Hurray for Horizons: Empires of Istaria will be finished soon! The type of game SWG could have, should have, been.

Drashk, that statement was totally ludicrous. Droid Engineers have a VERY legitimate gripe. We have got absolutely nothing since launch besides many major NERFS, not upgrades. Droids are and always were one of the biggest parts of the Star Wars universe. The constant fixes and attention to the Creature Handlers and PVP issues has driven every DE insane due to the lack of attention. Where in the world has a Creature Handler ever been a part of the SW universe? I don't remember anyone running around with a trained Gurreck, or Sand Beetle in any of the movies. Now they get to train our rideable creatures??? Give me a break. Another 4 or 5 months is unacceptable. Do something now and quit screwing around with classes that are constantly being given attention.

Now they have broken us until the next hotfix. Since it seems to affect DE's, the most despised and uncared for class in SWG, we probably won't see a fix for a week.

If not for my Second account I would of quit the game already. I have my DE retired atm. While I play my other account on same server.. The problem is lack of space to store stuff and keep maintence on warehouses. Either way I am very disapointed for a GAME that has a PROBOT on the front cover of the Box when bought.

Now no to be a bad guy here but a CSR recently said please use Submit ticket for complaints. My question to that is are they afraid that there mistakes are so bad that with customers complaining that we will hurt there reviews and top notch status if the wrong person sees these boards? Personaly I hope that happens maybe then they will go out and contract out what is needed in programers to fix this game...

Eh....here's all I have to say....

The Devs have said we're the next priority after Player Cities, Mounts, and Vehicles. However, we know that those things will take months at least. So although we're on the plate, it's still going to be a looooong time. And we get to deal with crippling bugs every Monthly Patch.

So for those quitting, I definately understand. I believe we'll get attention, definately. However, many of us can't wait that long and just get fed up. And rightly so.
