Quitting effective Saturday.

Dropped, went WS as of last week.

Come on, whoever thought DEs were gonna get a fix this patch is just delusional.

I am giving it one moremonth and then I'm gone. I have been a DE since release and lately have been disgusted with the lack of support and patches to this profession.

I guess what's really got me ticked is that the Customization Tools which were supposedely on TC were pushed to live servers with so many bugs in them. That and the fact that they're adding this new content when 75% of the old content is still bugged just goes to show the lack of Dev support and quality management that SOE has for this game.

Uh... don't you read the forums? The next two patchesare supposed tobe player cities, mounts, and vehicles.

The next two big monthly patches that is.

I cancelled already. I'm paid up till the 27th of this month. I cant see paying for this game anymore in its current form. This game just as it was with planetside was better during beta than it was at release (for Droid Engineers). My biggest current issue is with factories. I have sent in countless /bug on it. For some reason when I put in any metal the emblem on them turns to wheat and the factory wont use that resource. The CSR I have spoke with look at it as a minor problem.

Wow thats a lot of accounts, lol. Dont want to piss on anyones parade but I thoughtI was reading somewhere that DEs wont be giving and TLC until after the new year.

I quit this morning. Not because of all the crap we have had to deal with since the beginning, not because we receive promises from Holocronie that amount to nothing, but because a perfectly good post about DE and yesterdays patch gets locked on the main discussion forum because it was not posted here in the DE thread. The same is happening with pretty much every patch rant there. At the same time many, many "give the devs a break" posts are allowed to survive. What a crock of poodoo!

I am paid up for a while, so I will be maintaining my house in game, but I will not craft anything, do anything aside from maintaining my house. At the end of my current subscription, if there is not a complete 180 on the state of the game, and the attitudes of the forum moderators, then I will not be renewing. In fact, it is very likely that I will just stop logging on during the next month or two and that, as they say, will be that...

I'm also borderline, and I haven't even played since the patch was installed... after reading what many people whose opinions I respect commenting on the current state of our profession, I'm seriously considering a switch to Architect... unless that's somehow borked too. Think I'll go check out their forums now.

I will never quit. I plan to be THE very last Droid Eningeer left in the game during its final few seconds of existance

I actually still have novice DE and while im continuing on my path to master rifleman and possibly master Combat Medic, I'm going ot hang on to Novice DE as long as I can. DE was my original love and if they ever fix it I'd love to go back.
