YOU'RE GETTING A WHOLE F00Khin PUBLISH AIMED AT YOUR PROFFESSION!
Again, look at the changes on test and the craptastic ideas they have for Publish 8. They may have aimed it at our profession but they missed horribly and hit the fuel tanker behind us. We're just waiting for the explosion.
Your correspondant knows I'm right, but I also agree with you guys that medical droids are all you have, so let me rephrase it.
You've talked to Drashk on this, huh? Here's a cookie.
Nerf Medical Droid usage AFTER they fix all your other broken shiiit because you know damm well they are unbalanced versus camps and medical centers...
Maybe they are unbalanced, I'm not a doctor so I really don't know. But wouldn't it make more sense to just up Medical centers? I mean a medically equipped droid should allow you to heal better than simply being in somebody's house, right?
Stop flaming me, I dare you to try and tell me my points are wrong.
Nobody's really flamed you, we're just smart-asses in here. And nobody's said your points were wrong either, but you're the second guy to come in here screaming for a nerf of a horribly broken profession. Leave us some dignity, please.
That would take BRAINS
You don't want to be flamed, but you'll flame back. Hmm.....

What this poster has proposed, is actually an easy fix to a large portion of the problem with meds. Allbeit, another dagger in the DE's back.
Exactly, thank you.
Your profession really sucks, but that doesnt mean that the one thing you have should eliminate the need for 50% of medical schematics and make medical Centers either empty, or filled with hologrinding tumblers.
And CAMPS? Whats a camp? Who needs a camp? Droids can now be called anywhere anytime (with minor timer delays)
Your missing my point because maybe I came off a little aholish...
Reducing the medical rating to HALF of a medical centers does not mean we wont need medical droids! We need them to heal wounds outside of camps/med centers.
UP the med center rating to 150 (to help afk auto healing) and reduce the droid to 75 at max.
The 75 rating would force us to use our higher level wound meds to compensate for this reduction and force us into camps and medical centers for the best possible buff results.
Right now a medical droid has the same medical capablities AS A BUILDING.
Now common sense says you wouldn't to be able to provide the same medical attention with an R-Unit in the fieild as you could in a Medical Center or Advanced camp.
Thats all I'm suggesting, YOU WOULD NOT LOSE 1 SALE
EVERY DOCTOR WOULD STILL NEED A MEDICAL DROID
Well as with most professions currently, you guys aren't working as intended thats true, but thats a different topic.
When I first joined this game I was shocked to find out all the things droids COULDNT do.
Repair droids dont repair, Load Lifters dont lift, Power droids dont power, protocol Droids dont interact, Probots dont Probe.
So you guys got MODULES, a Probot heals? Sure it does! Stick a module in it! Stupid IMHO.
R-units heal! Stupid.
Droids themselves should be modules in themselves, adding bonuses to their surroundings.
ALL Professionsget a module
Camp module adds to camps. (scouts rangers)
Slicing modules give bonuses to R-units, give terminal slices a bonus with smugglers(wow like the movie!)
Entertainer Module puts a tray on its shoulders like the movie and helps entertainers (in cantinas only)
ETC
Maybe the solution is...that Medical Droids get thepercentage reduction of a medical center, BUT!!
They add a 1/3 of their rating bonusto the Center/HTFB when deployed within.
Best Med Rated droid = 75, Medical Center/HTFB gets a small bump up to 125, Medical Droid deployed inside a Med Center/HTFB makes the STACKED rating 150.... 1/3 of 75 being 25, 25 plus 125=150 total.
This bonus would only apply to the individual deploying the droid.
And only MEDICAL DROID CHASSIS get the medical module, (where's FX 7?)
The DEV's have recently fell in love with stacking bonus'/buffs (CHEF FOOD) so why can't you guys get it?

I found about 8 other DEs on starsider are we taking away that many camp sales? Flynn-Nomad what professions do you play? I as a DE I don't post on the other boards to start trouble and I tend to do research before I post anything. Now being in a big PA. I only see the scout and rangers pulling out camps so we can get are swoops back not to heal. The last this is I'm pretty sure the Docs in the PA like that they can heal in front of the cantina.

What if I said:
"Med Centers and Camps defeat the purpose of Medical Droids." ????
It used to be people had to use camps and/or droids to heal wounds. Now they can go to any local and (tons of) player cities, duck in a player building or med center and take care of it there, removing the use of our Med Droids other than to Buff....
LOL...think of it from the other side of the door before you walk in.

Are you on crack? I see your twisted logic and I'll raise you the initial intentions of George Lucas and the DEV's
Read the instruction manual.
Droids in the Star Wars universe each have their own complpimenting roles to the humanoids they interact with.
If you're silly bhuddist statement were to pass let's say, then YES I would say eliminate the redundancy.
There is no reason to have 2 or 3 different ways to do the same thing, so yes you could eliminate camps and medical centers and be perfecly Ok with the magical medical droids.
But then you are saying screw doctors and rangers.
You don't need to muscle in on others to be functional. The DEV's are creative retards.
Get mad at them not me.
List EVERY THING you can do in this game and I can find a role that a droid could compliment it with. (not take it over)
You could effectively be involved with EVERY other aspect of the game but you're protecting ONE? The last one you have left?
You'd rather fight tooth and nail for that LAST working droid than have 50 other effective ones?
Where's the vehicle repair droid! They have the GAWD DAMN chassis!
Turn your anger from me being right on the money andgrab your correspondant by the ears and do something constructive.

What the hell are you talking about?Medical droids require medical skills to use. It's not like a medical droid replaces a Doctor, it ENHANCES a Doctor's skills. Now it may make a building obsolete, but not a PC profession. All the points you're bringing up only truly effect one profession, the scout/ranger. And for that I say, just up the med capabilities of camps/med centers.
A droid would be able to be more precise than a human could ever be, and would have stored data and knowledge far superior to what any human could comprehend. Why shouldn't a droid enhance a doctor's capability?
