I too made several R2 units with nothing but storage, and let me say the Nutronium steel used to make the storage units isn't exactly easy to come by. I think it was a great deal, I think I charged like 30k for the ones I built. The way I see it, you charge what you want, unless the resources are scarce, then the price goes up a bit.

It's not the modules that make a droid pricy. It is the chassis. To make an ADV r3 it takes a lot of resources.
If he wants cheap storage droids he should just get mse droids. That is ridiculous.

Yes Paladin. 10k for the chasis, 10k for each module. So 30k would be fair.

I would never sell 6 R2 chasis for 100k. if he just wants them for storage and wants them cheap then sell him R4's or Dz70s.. or even the MSE...

Oh if he complains tell him you can make the same money running janta missions in half the time it would take you to make the droid.. Thats what I tell my customers.

My standard response is this... "How much do you pay for buffs?" Answer "12k" I say " Buffs last 3 hours, droids last forever!"

R2's at 20k each seems like a bargain, even if they only have one or twomodules. If the guy doesnt want them, let him/her walk. As another poster said earlier people DO talk, about their experiances, good and bad.

I would suggest offering MSE Adv chassis or the DZ70, which I think someone else suggested earlier. I suggest the Adv. because I hate wasting Lvl 6 storage modules on stroage only droids. (Just a personal preferance)
