I think the dev's somewhere that crates are "insta-crafts" hence the new stats...

Though its weird.. I had a crate of 2 LE.. Pulled the first 1, got patch 7 stats, pulled the second got patch 8. Bizarre. Both had same serial # too

what about old modules not working, like crafting stations or medical abitilies just giving out

If it was in a crate, then you will get the HAM boost when you tame the droid. I noticed this too - I pulled a probot out of a crate after P8 - HAM said 1089 until I readied it, and then it jumped to 3168. This did not happen with deeds that were on my vendor though.

Fantastic! Now to convince John Q. Public that this will happen. lol

And to remember not to try it on the last droid out of the crate (so we lose 1/5 of our crated droids).

Also, wouldn't it be nice if we had a few extra storage spaces in our datapad so we could have some of these ready for customers? (see other threads regarding this. :-> )
