Thread: Let's Go Do The Hop -- Using Hoppers for Item Storage

I've noticed the crate thing.

I usually craft with a couple of droid storage windows open... and I've noticed that if the crate was in the hopper, it won't show up in the schematic "filtered" resource list. If I drag a crate directly from a droid window or inventory, it won't show up either.

But if I move a crate from one droid to the other, or from the hopper to a droid, that crate stays "valid" for the rest of my crafting session.

Things seem to reset if I move too far away from my station.

I've bugged it...

One problem with this idea Ender007, I've lost a few items that were placed in a back pack, on a vendor. I also know of a few others that have had the same happen to them. I'm guessing that this has been fixed recently, but everytime that a merchant/vendor patch is added I hear of people losing items. Instead of placing a door charge, you could always charge a really high fee for the back pack itself. This way, you still get the Merchant Xp when someone decided to see what is on your vendor....

No problem with keeping items in the output hopper of my factory but had items I placed in a backpack for a guild member mysteriously dissappear for two days.
