In beta you used to be able to buy the droid itself.

As far as I know, no one has wasted the points on the schematic - and I can't imagine it would be any different.

The reason the R units are so much cheaper is because the Empire has an easier time of getting them, being the Empire and all. At least that's what we were told.

I really wish a dev would respond to this. I'd rather buy something repeatable than a stormtrooper or at-st. But not if it is just some crappy droids a novice DE can make.

There are imperial Droid in the game whichwe cant build why dont are there scematics available to buy for FPs

Example everyone who was in emperors retreat knows the RA-7 Bug Protocoll Droids.

I want to be able to build those if i am member of the Empire...

Do we need to be a higher rank or something. What is everyones rank. I am a lance corporal,and iv seen the 5 droids. The R units and the (chuckle) DZ70 (point and laugh).

I seriously doubt this...we would have seen some of those new droids already if there were available at a higher rank...

i want a RA-7 bug droid...at least it would be a droid which do what it names says...itz bugged

yeah,but how many droid engineers are out there, and are imperial, and waste FP's on rank. Which looks like it serves no purpose from what i can see. It's just a thought. Is anyone a general yet?

WellI tried !

I reached 3000 imp faction pts, went to see the recruiter, asked for R2 droid schematic (2800 pts).

and i got the message = "schematic duplicate' !

But I lost no faction pts (thx god).

So it seems these schematics are exactly the same as you get in DE blueprints

I guess that if you're a non DE (or a DE without R2 schematic yet) it might work but it's probably useless since you'll need to know the subparts schematics to craft a R2.

Yet another droid bug to add to the huge bugs list

So the only question that leaves then is will the presence of the draft schematic alone allow a non-DE to make droids?

Go buy a schematic for a Slitherhorn from an Entertainer and see if you can craft it. There's your answer
