I think that you all are asking to much.

Why in the world would you want these things to function. Don't you like running out to your extractors? I mean I really find it enjoyable when I reach them but their not there. Heck I didn't know they took breaks too. I sat there and waited for it to return and sure enough.. After the ten min.. it was back to work. wee.. Its a good thing too because I didn't know how long I could stay in the prone position to avoid those Swoopers next to the extractor. Hmm.

Ok seriously! There should be some limits... Like the MSE droid should probably be restricted to a data droid. I mean come on who expects that little droid to hold anything other then data. My rifle is bigger then the droid is long. HMM.. This would actually have a point to getting to the advance moduels andnew blueprintsand things of that nature.

I think my little R5 with the stuppid personality chip is funny though. Everytime I get attacked he screams at them about attack his friends. Hmmm.. wait a min there is one of me and three of them.. Is he telling me to stop attacking them? LOL.

Honestly, there is not alot of use at this time, however, I want to believe that they are going to fix the profession and it will rule. I think the sugestions I have seen so far from the community are right on the nail.

I purchased a few General Crafting Station modules from another DE on my server, and experimented with them.

I put one in a LE Repair Droid (Cuz I think they look cool) and tested it. It functions identically to a "private" crafting station made by an architect. Other people can use the droid to experiment while near it, and they do NOT need to be grouped.

The 1st 10% of the code takes 90% of the time; the remaining 90% of the code takes the remaining 90% of the time.

I've just made novice DE and I think the only module that seems to be useful for the MSE is the medic module it dois allow medics to heal with out a camp. I've been able to sell a few of those for about 500 credits. But until they get things working. I'm thinking about becoming an architect.

The Droid Engineer class is an excellent evidence of SOE's game development prowess. /snicker

I've heard conflicting reports about droids acting as personal crafting stations, can somebody clarify that part for me? Which droids (if any) automatically act as what types of personal crafting stations? Which ones can be equipped to do so, with what modules if any?

How about specialized crafting stations? And if so, can the droids with more than one module slot serve as more than one type of specialized crafting station, say (the one I'd want) both an armor and clothing station and a food and chemicals station?

An R5 or whateverthat I could park in my shop that would serve both purposes, without cluttering up the place, and that I could use to do occasional jobs while at the bank/bazaar in town - that I would pay money for. The personal crafting stations alone aren't exactly cheap, and they can't be used except in player-owned housing.

I for one do hope they add newer Driod to the list.

Whatever happened to all the wonderful combat droids we saw in EP I & II. I would think the a Master DE would be able to make these specially when you think they would be consider oldered tech.

The truth is with all the nerfs and bugs on Droid. i doubt you have many DE left soon if somethig isn't done to make the DE profession more appealing.

What would make a customer buy a driod now?

Jedi Robes
Long awaited are the Jedi robes! Gone will be the days of Jedi running about in armor. The Jedi robe will provide a hidden toughness value that will protect the Jedi, similar to armor, but providing more of a Jedi feel. -TH Jedi archive II

Hi. I'm not a Droid Engineer but I have become interested in aquiring one so I was wondering if there was a website that listed all the types of droids and what their abilities and features are. I'm on Talus in the Ahazi galaxy in case there is anyone out there who wished to sell one to me after I have selected one. Thanks guys.

Keep in mind that DE is a broken profession, though it is fun.

What do you mean it's broken? What's wrong with DEs?
