Definitely. The module for a genetics droid should be like a data module, but it can only store creatures and genetic schematics, and holds more slots than a standard data module. Possibly also grant a bonus to create creatures and tissues.

I love the idea of being able to choose what stat I slice with a droid module. So many times I slice the opposite of what the customer wants.

That would certainly be a good option. Perhaps don't have slicing modules replace the function of Smugglers, but enhance them?
