hmmm the average cost is 20k each so 20 droids at 20k is more like 400k might be more if its an advance surgical droid.

The total comes to 350k, not 420, so I'd probably go ahead and charge him 320k or so. And you're not making 9200cr per droid, you're making 11,500 cr, which is a bit better

I would have to agree with that - he can only use 3 (5 if he is a droid engineer) ... and even a large PA probably wouldnt need that many droids. I bet if you look around, you'll find a shop with his name on it and your droids in it. He can say that he made em too ... no names are visible on the droids as to who crafted them currently

Uh my math may be a little fuzzy at times but my calculator says that 15 times 34.3 equals 514.5 so I'm still confused on how you got 309 without a major price reduction that you did not state.

My bad - that should have been 16.2k on the R2 ... 34.3k is for the advanced model.

Thats because if you charge what i told you too - he'll have trouble reselling them However, this might not be a bad thing - perhaps he would like to be in the wholesale business... that might not be a bad idea. You can just make him stuff when he wants. he pays up front. Then its his problem to get rid of the stuff. This is exactly why manufacturers sell their stuff to wholesalers and not directly to us.

Oh ok, just wondering, I figured it might be something like that.

Out of curiosity, does it really matter if he's reselling them or not? Heck, once I sell someone a droid I really don't care if it languishes in their data pad, get's sold, or is used to practice Marksmanship. I've sold it, it isn't mine any more.

Would it be nice to line up all those customers and make a direct profit myself? Sure. On the other hand he is making the purchase all at once and freeing you from running down clients.
