I've gotten to 108 rating

Final Combat rating seems to be capped out at 600 though...

Did the effectiveness change the HAM? Did you do the same thing with grinding resource for the deed? That'd be nice to know.

Using some OQ 922 Con 750 Aluminium and some crap OQ 302 Gas, I was able to experiment up to 82% with a CMR of 93. Using modules rated 93, 89, 88 I created a socket cluster with a CMR of 271. That plus 2 additional combat modules with CMR's of 88 for a grand total of 446 resulted in an ADV probot with a damage rated at 139-148.

110 seems reasonably attainable on the modules.

For the clusters, it appears to be simple addition of the modules ratings..so 330 should be possible. (I just made a 325 using 110, 108, and 107 modules)

Experimentation on Effectivenes does change the HAM. 1100 is the limit for the Advanced Probot.

Adv. Probot Droid 1001 HAM, 40% resist, 150-159 damage

Played the game since launch and picked up artisan/DE 12 days ago for the first time and made Master DE 3 days ago. Took an hour to craft my first combat droid which I found to be a PITA since you have to craft likearound 20different items from scratch. I used armor 4 since i had no armorsmiths in my friends list that were online who could make me composite segments for armor 6's.

I'm using mediocre resources and still getting 97 combat modules, so 110 with uber stuff sounds about right, but not necessarity worth the higher resource cost unless yer swimmin in the stuff. As for all the junk to make for 1 droid, I very much agree, which is why the price has climbed to 200k (doubt I can sustain that for long). I run 3 factories...1 for brains, 1 for control units and 1 for combat modules.

Now if they'd just fix the uncraftable DE Tool Bandoleer for the Tailors, we'll all be loving life at the experimentation station as of this morning's rollback of the exp nerf...

So far, I've hit 110. Also a Cluster with 310.

Might as well list the resources used:

Omninowi Platinite Copper

OQ: 924

Cond: 949

Emaism Kaylon Inert Gas

Decay: 473

OQ: 966

Anyone else want to share?
