We're very excited to see the interest in combat droinds being used by crafters and non-combatants and will be making adjustments to make them more viable in that regard.
I think a simple solution will be to consider droid level for group level this way a lv1 artisan grouping with a lv 18 combat droid will have lv18 and will not be insta incapped
this can also help low level combat grind where mybe is not so easy to find a group.
it will also be nice to be able to 'load' a droid or a pet in a 'multipassenger' vehicle, this way players can go around with their droid, making them more usefull.
(note that to raise CL is not necessary to be near the droid so the droid can stay at home, but will be 'funnier' to have it with us and see him jump in combat to protect .) )
