Geez, at least R2 could have made it with the Iowa... 3 guns is better than 2. For those who aren't up on your history, here's the Bismarck.

I find it such a pity that

a) This looks like something I'd build in real life, given an R2 astromech droid and the weird need to put guns on it.

b) I quite liked Daleks, dispite the ever present flaw in them that any world-conquering terminator-robot really should havebeen designed with the ability to go up stairs on its own. (thanks thoughfor the nostalgia Gribnitz )

LOL.

I will admit, the little bugger is kind of cute. If it can hold utility modules it might actually replace the Power Droid in my datapad (though saying goodbye would be hard), not for combat but for a spare crafting droid.

omg, with so many opportunities they stick a turret on poor R2.

They should have stuck a turret on those Tredmill droids, or at least given us a new chassis, instead of cobbling one together.

I cant wait to see what the next set of Combat droids will be, We're already getting Mse droids packed with explosives, R2's with turrets, lets see some Medical Droids with shoulder Bazookas!

The farce is strong in this one.

I keep coming back to that too, but the thing is SO darn cute...like the little engine that could.

"I think I can...I think I can...I think I can....(*BOOM*) (*insert Pac-Man game over sound*)."

I don't think it's going to save the profession, but like I said, if it takes service as well as combat modules I'll have one.

All i can really say its perverse. Something that doesnt belong in nature. Something that just feels wrong, and makes you dirty.

But in a way, it does look cool.

At least there's artwork. I was afraid that it would just be an R2. with beams flying out of him.

you think we'll really be able to make these? I dont get the newsletter. Is there an url to read the whole newsletter?

Yes, this is the Droid Invasion. Or, at least, I feel invaded, and just more than a little violated, to be honest
