Surprisingly enough...

The LE maxxed out has been selling great for me lately. That's even with the limited availability of Repair kits currently (for me and others too, from what I hear).

Which leads to my next questions lol, never miss an opportunity. As you may have guessed i'm a noob to the profession, it's not my fault, it's not my fault!!!

Ok so really stupid question then, what the hell do repair bots repair??? it makes sense if you think about it, they cannot repair any of your other droids as you can only have one out. So how does this work, do they repair themselves? vehicles? harvestors? what?

Also what is the point in those great hulking load lifters? what is their exact purpose, i can imagine they are a waste. As you couldn't leave them to do stuff and go off and do combat with your combat droids at the same time.

Bah, more droids out, more droids on the datapad, Droidekas, battle droids and assasin droids!!!

NEB

P.s Can i also get a sandcrawler devs? i really want to be a travelling gypsy style DE, maybe a few jawas to load my stuff too, thank you.

Would stacking an R3 with 5 repair and 1 combat module work better (since I think they can get higher HAM)? Would it be possible?

Wouldn't it be better to have the auto repair modules and 1 repair module? My reasoning is if your using the droid as a tank its gonna take wounds and you then need a DE to fix it or someone with a droid equipped with a Repair module but if you have one in your tank then it can repair itself and keep going. I have a droid that has one and it repairs its own wounds.

I have tried the R3 with 5 repair 1 combat combo. The damn things still steal too much exp. Basically every point of damage my pet does, takes 1 point of exp away from me. So a pet that does the least amount of damage, yet can hold agro, is the best one for someone tryinging to level combat skills.

Yes the R3 has a higher HAM, but at 40-50 points of damage a shot (even with the "worst" combat module i could make, took 12 attempts to get a crit fail on a module made with trash resources), it was stealing anywhere from 500-1200 exp every kill. The probot on the other hand steals 40-60 exp a kill from me. And considering i need to kill a few thousand critters to make Master Pistoleer, the exp the pet is stealing soon adds.

So yes there are other combo's that work. But for someone trying to gain combat exp, a pet that only does 1 point of damage if it hits at all is the best possible pet even without the autorepair, which is a nice bonus to have on a droid.

WHat type of bot? I dont think armor will go into any of the clusterable sockets on an R3. It has a separate box.

Go ahead and put armor on em, armor takes up its own spot and not one of the module spots.

Now offering these droids on my vendor!!!

Aren't auto-repair modules only supposed to work on other droids? Or am I just confused?

If I remember reading the little hoverbubble, it said it repairs itself and others if in close proximity... (something like that... gah, not in game, supposed to be asleep)

The auto-repair does repair both the droid that has it and any surrounding droids. But it sure sucks the battery down.

Personally, I love my LE ADV droid with a sarcastic personality. I sent it into the middle of some Feral Banthas and it held all their attention while I shot them from afar. Plus with all the lip he gives me, I don't feel bad sending him to get beat on.

Does anyonehear the Nerf Stick coming out?

I would suggest to my fellow D.E.'s to start making many, many of these types of droids. Because after they are Nerfed they will be worth a lot of money.
