I pity the world without droids.
I used to always get excited at the idea of something good happening to our profession. But after so many false promises. So much rehashing of the 'we need to spend time getting some ideas from you' thing when we're expecting something good.
I don't think I'll actually get excited until I see something real hit Test Center.

Heh, I generally get to see the good dev stuff the next morning. It's rare that I can visit this board after about 7:00 PM Eastern time, and that's just too early for all the end-of-day stuff from the West coast.
So I log in here around 6:45 AM or so, when the server goes down, to see what kind of stuff's been posted, and what kind of arguments are happening... I cannot decide if I have a sense of anticipation or of dread concerning what happens when I come here tomorrow morning.

Correct me if I am wrong, but weren't the last 3 before this week's feature posted around midnight or 2 in the morning...
I don't know exactly, but I do remember looking for them around 9 p.m. on each week and not seeing them.

I stopped reading the Friday Feature a LONG time ago (when it became the "Friday Flop").
Maybe Q-3PO should move them to the "Thursday Feature" so that we actually DO get them on Friday.

I've read the same statement in about 10 other forums:
The insert profession name here Profession is going to be our tippy-top priority in January. Expect to see some awesome and unique changes and additions to insert profession name here.

....the difference being that we have quite a few official Dev statements to this on the forums, in addition the entire "Droid Invasion" on their website.
This, for us.........at this time, is different.
I actually DO think they are serious about getting serious with droids. They just don't seem to be telling us much about it yet (much meaning: nothing).
