A few of the "others" were exploiting to get there so fast. And the Devs/CS did squat about it. So now all other DE's who didn't exploit have been forced to grab their ankles or pick a new profession.

I am hoping that Novice DE's will be able to make either the swoop bike or the speeder and get some resonable XPs for it. Along the lines of an Architect and a small house.

Not signed. Yep, getting to DE is hard. Deal with it -- that's how we keep the riff-raff out. If it were easier there'd be even more Novice DEs running around making mouse droids. Yep, getting to Master DE is also hard -- well, the game is only weeks old and other have done it so it can be done.

If the Devs make it easier, I'll be very disappointed...

Lowering the XP requirements would be great. However, what about all the people who have already had to suffer through Novice Droid engineer spending 17,000+ resources to do so?

The class is definitely not perfect, but it's not fair to change the requirements now. So I doubt you'll see it happen. I do however agree with most points made here. Usefull droids is all we need. And a decay rate needs to be mandatory. Then make it so DE's can repair droids and only DE's can repair droids. This will at least give us some steady income.As of right now, I am broke while a Novice or Intermediate weaponsmith can churn out weapons being bought for 2k+ each.

All my money goes into my resource harvesting and I get 0 return. After the stuff I do sell i am still in the negatives. Something needs to change however I am not expecting it to.

Well I agree that something needs to be done. I have created about 150 MSE droids, which puts me about 1/2 way through the first grind. I have destroyed all but one droid. I need to do 5-6 missions a day to keep the harvesters fed, so I get enough resources to keep the grind going.

48000 is entirely too much, we need other means of getting exp. UXP would be best, but I'd even settle on novice droid engineers allowed to repair droids, but since droids never break down... Let's not start that up.

Let's adjust the exp requirement some, 28800 exp worth of muzzles was bad enough, but these MSE droids are killing me.
