(mutters) When do I get an edit key?
Tried this...
+6 and +4 Module in a MSE resulted in a BP30 (16+14=30, +0)
I'll have to tinker about with some other lower quality materials (gas, copper) to see if I can make sub-BP5 to see if +1 is for anything under 5 or not...
20k is too much for a Topped out BP MSE right?

the reason you get the random +1 sometimes is the system stores all the decimal places it doesn't show. If the two modules were x.5 and x.5, you'll get 2x + 1. (yes, that may be confusing)

Yup, had this happen with auto-heal modules as well. I had some test clusters of 3 18-power auto-repair turn into combat-clusters with 55 rating, and I've also seen similar results with harvesting modules.
It's kind of neat - a nice surprise when it happens.

Much like the deciphering of the Combat Rating (mutters) ...
Has anyone figured out how much damage per point (min/max) ... Still have people ask me, and I'm not sure ...

Maybe they should do the same thing to weapons and grenades... Make it so that WS have to explain things of their products as well... By making it cryptic...
Oh wait... That would include me doing that too... Ugh...
