He mean's last summer right? You know, when we started paying for it?

The state of the game is out of control. They are clearly having problems. They just released some spiffy new website that looks much better thenthe game we know and play. They gave out buddy keys. Free 14 day trials for canceled accounts. This all screams, "save us we are drowning!" Well SOE, we are not stupid, marketing gimics do not fix a broken game. The subscription problems you are having is a reflection of a poor product and bad business desicions. I feel like they are putting forth one last ditch effort to get as much money out of us as they can. The worst of all I am still hanging on with a thread of hope they will fix the game. It makes me wonder who they listen too. This is a message to LucasArts as well, step in, SOE is ruining your product, your name, and the high standards to which you have set countless times(Kotor, X-Wing Series, Dark Forces, etc).

As a DE i have been waiting for the so called droid invasion since i first saw a post about it. I for one have heard of this so called Droid Handler. This word in itself is just silly droids are not handled. Their are two people involved with droids 1) the maker of the droid 2) the customer that recieves the droid. Their is no middle. Droids do not have the same characteristics as an animal. Creature Handlers make sense give that the animals have to be tamed. Droids are not tamed they are made for a specific perpose. They can only do what the Droid Engineer programs them to do. They are not trained they are programmed and i believe that only one proffession is needed for this. The cert system has some faults yes. Everyone will not be able to use every droid. I personally dont agree with it. Combat droids being seperated into lvls would be ok with me having lower lvl combat droids only usable by those with a basic proffession then opening up the lock of higher lvl ones once an advanced proffession is achieved crafting or combat. Their should be a reward for making it to the tougher proffessions. i am really appaled at the lack of attention this is in fact the forums offical forums the ones YOU are in charge of. Maybe if you would make sure everyone is up to speed on the current plans rather then posting this crap we wouldnt explode like this. If DH is not removed i will be quiting this game. As im sure many others will either quit or drop DE.

This is crap. I didn't master DE to only sell droids to a select few DH's. If they really want to force you to get a new skill tree to handle droids, fine, then GIVE 50 MORE SKILL POINTS. This game is already boring as hell once you have become a master. At least give us a reason to grind some more. God, you know a game isBAD when you WISH to grind.

(anyway... I've not had much respect for the devs or rednames since we made them appologize to us way back when- like it did any good... they've kept up their lies to us anyway)

Summer??? LOL, get real! Most of us won't last another 2 months if we don't start seeing things change in the game.

In effect you are saying that we have to wait until summer for this game to finally be fun. I'm sure that at that time you will be saying it will REALLY be fun next year! Yay!!!

Sorry DEs, I love droids myself. I bought 12 of them the other day and paid over double what the DE wanted for them.

At least take comfort in the fact that imperials will soon be able to wear their hats!

Wow, this thread proves to me the wisdom of Blizzardin it's determination to not give any information until they KNOW it is absolute. That being said...

A lot ofyou poeple keep saying that when he said that it would be "incredible fun" thathe implied the game is notfun right now, but note that he used a word in addition to fun to demonstrate a degree. I think he was saying (and we would all have to agree with him if I'm right) that the game has not yet come close to it's full potential. The fact that they think the game is fun is also shown in another thing you have been riding them for, specifically, the fact that they allowed canceled accounts to return for free. You may say that this is a desparate attempt to boost profit, but there is no profit in allowing poeple to play for free unless you believe you can prove to them that the product is now improved and may now draw them back into the community. If you do have an explanation for how it is profitable to allow poeple to play the game for free without believing that the game is fun, I would like to hear it... it might be interesting to read.

For all of you looking to quit the game, I ask you to give another profession a chance before condemning the game. If you decide that you don't like the game after trying other professions then I guess this game just isn't for you. I myself am having a fun time. I hope you all can learn to enjoy the game as I have in spite of it's many flaws. Whatever you do have fun.
