Thread: Please, say there's a light at the end of the tunnel

As much as it killed me, I respec'd out of DE for reasons that I blame on SOE. Once I get my armor orders fulfilled, I'll actually start learning how to use MBH/MR.
I wouldn't worry about what one person said, even if it was with a bunch of guildies online. 1) it's just a game, 2) If the guy doesn't respect crafters, then that's his own issue. He sure doesn't seem to mind buying crafted items, 3) most folks that see that kind of chat ignore it. The guy is making himself look like the idiot.
I had over 60 droids on my vendor, all reverted to level 18. Yes must be the ones i crafted back when we could not make armor segments 5 and 6. So I used armor 4 for those. Now I have to recraft those, and keepthe combat droids off my vendor till the Devs get off their lazy .... and fix it.
On a side note. Talked with a BE the other day. Seems they are able to make level 70 pets. We can only make level 30. Is there something wrong with this picture? Thought i was playing a Star Wars game.

It has more to do with how he disrespected me. He did it in guildchat when over 40 members were online. I have since banned him from my mall, he can buy his BH droids elsewhere.Cuore
he would be classified as an a$$hat, what is there not to respect... he would be running around in his noob clothes with an cdef rifle and the x31 speeder if it wasnt for us, you tell me who it is and well show him why the crafters should be respected.

You don't need to be certed to use a droid. Level 70 pets require CH skills.

DEs are defenseless. We should have be able to use higher level droids than other players for the same reason CH players could use CL 70 pets: because we made them.
And about the dude who talked bad about crafters, tell every crafter in your guild to refuse service to him. He shouldn't be allowed to say things like that when we supply him with his weapons, armor, and the sort.
Don't worry about some idiot in your guild.Most sane people realise that in this player economy, you had better respect crafters or you will never have any items at all. It is sad that you would have to put up with such in your own guild though, usually guild leadership would handle that.
As to the light at the end of the tunnel.That's notan easy answer. Even if we jump back 6 months beore the CU when Harvestors worked, Barkers were usefull and maintdroids sold, DE wasstill not the profession for getting rich. Sure you could sell some droids, you still can, but you work 10 times as hard for a quarter of the profits. It really comes down towhat makes you happy. You just need to accept that even if every single bug was fixed tomorrow, youstill wont be making thesame amonut of money as other crafters.
i also daubt that there is any light ahead in this warren-tunnel...
speaking with some of the DEs on my server i heard that most are too proud to quit a prof they really worked for (no disrespect for the respec dudes but there is a difference imho)...
i guess no one ever asked for all bugs to be removed...we got used to them...but since there is hardly any attention to things except if you are a jedi or a bloody hau-drauf fighter...
i think most DEs would have a better sleep if they knew that there is someone who cares and is aware of the issues and will maybe consider to do something about this or that screw that came loose...

I know that. You are missing the point. Where BE has CH to craft for as well as the rest of the community, we have no Droid Handler profession to do the same. If the Devs do not want to add this profession ingame, at least give us droids we can craft at the same levels as BE and have the certed for CHs to use. We and most ingame already know droids are just a dumbed down version of creatures anyway. With us able to make level 70 droids, this would give the Devs a good reason to add Droidekas, Battle Droids, and Super Battle Droids for us to craft.
