Thread: Just ran into what looks like broken medic6 modules in 3 different droids...
Had a Doctor buy a probot off of my vendor with a medical6 (110 rating) module, and a food/chem crafting station.
He then sent me a tell, saying he had gotten the "customization completely faded" message and that it had stopped letting him heal, just like his R-unit (55 rating) had a week ago, but his MSE droid (he said 35 rating) still worked... it just sucked (
).
I met him outside my shop, and made sure the thing was charged... no heal.
We stepped into the shop, and made sure the Doc wasn't bugged somehow... he could heal me fine.
We stepped back outside with the MSE... he could heal.
I pulled out mypersonal R3 with the med6 module... no heal.
Have any of you had any problems like this? It wasn't a droid battery issue...
no opinion as yet, though it should be noted that Med 6 modules give 110 rating, not 55. the 55 one would be a single Med 4 module (I believe). That'd suggest that the problem spans over all medical modules.
Yep... realized the title was incorrect as soon as I hit "submit".
2 med6 droids and that **edit** MSE.He'd already destroyed the R-unit.
The point is tho', that I personally tested3 different med droids, 2 of which I'd made myself within the last few days, and only 1 (the MSE) worked as advertised. I find that kind of upsetting.
I hope its not something I'm doing. The R3's med module is in a socket cluster of course, but the probot's is a straigh install.

I posted something like that a bit ago, but I had an added problem. All the programmed commands in data pad were gone too. I have gotten complaints from customers saying that the droid isn't working andf I amde sure it was charged.
Something is up and its not just the battery issue. We need to confirm this.
R3 with Med6, Item6, Storage6, Repair, and Chem station. Everything works but Med 6. Shows 110 in the datapad, but doesn't work. Batteries tried as well.

This warms my heart. The crafting station bug was a nice touch -- 50% or our sales -- now they got the other half.
Can anyone confirm this happening in other body types?
I have two probots and had problems with one of them. I use the same commands for both droids, one of them would not group, after I tried to teach him the command again and again it would not work. When I changed to another command, putting the droids name in first and that worked.
Eventually I got both droids working fine but it took many tries.
did that medic charge the probot with batteries? and that completely faded away thing is just that the droid is not colored man, no biggie with that.

Yep. Fresh charge.
So far I've seen it in a probot with Medic6 and a Food/Chem station, and an R3 with 2 Storage3's, Repair, Item station, Medic6, and Data6. I think the medic said his other broken a droid was an R2 with a Medic4.
I don't think the chassis has anything to do with it... Now I think my R3lost its commands at one point, but I could be wrong. I was programming 4 other droids that I use with it as my "extra backpack" and just reprogrammed the commands without paying much attention.
