Hi. We ARE focussing on Droid Engineers. I am not sure what is happening in the next publish, but January will see low and mid-level combat droids, and February will see some serious high level ones.

We are still hashing out our schedule for the next four months, but I am going to take a gamble and post as much of it as I can after I have signoff from everyone involved.

I think I'll remain skeptical. As I recall, we were promised such things for around November's publish, yet here's November and still nothing.

3 months before I can make new high level droids !?
I am disappointed.

I'm not sure if I should be disappointed or happy that I just dumped my Master DE skills today. Probably a bit of both. Hopefully those droids and the ones already in exsitance are *cough* working by the time the new ones hit.

Sorry, January is too late.... I will have canceled my account by then. Infact this is my last month. time is not running out, time "Has Run Out" for you developers to make this JOKEinto a game.

An honest response!

This I can accept, it contains usefull information, a timetable(Which wasn't necessary nor will I complain if they slip), and it's a clear response.

I am hereby done complaining about the State of DE's. This is all I wanted. A clear direction it's going in.

Ill believe it when I see it. Im sick of reading bantha fodder from these idiots.

I doubt my opinion is worth much outside my small sphere of influence (Ahazi) but I will say this: I believe him. There have been too many hints, clues, and behind-the-scenes activity for things to not be happening. As JustG stated, it is both dangerious and irresponsible to post information that can later be called upon as faulty, and that is why we've not heard much since the last 'Grand DE Plan' postings. But from what we have heard I have gained full confidence that enough is happening to set the professionstraight (or at least less crooked)by Febuary.

As such, I am ready to pull back and stop pushing the Devs. They may not be fixing everything we ask, but I do believe they are fixing many things, as well as adding more. We should really look on that as a perk, as not many professions have gotten much added to them since launch (off the top of my head: architects, entertainers, and maybe bio-engineers.)

I for one have my confidence restored enough to stick with the profession. There are many of you who keep screaming 'no trust without proof.' Then don't trust them. Walk. This profession will be here when you get back. The 'proof' you ask for takes time. Trust me, I've done a fair share of programming, network code,and database work in my day to realise that you can't whip things like this up overnight. At a minimum, now you have a half decent timeline: 3 months. you know when to resubscribe your account or start regrinding. Nothing stopping you from enjoying other aspects of the game then getting back when the proof returns.

As for myself, I don't see myself doing anything other than Droids. There's no other part of the game that facinates me (other than maybe jedi, but choosing DE I doubt I'll see a holocron any time soon). I'll be here, through the thick just as I have been through the thin these last months now. But again, I'm not going to push the Devs any further, as I think we have just become beligerant and disgraceful. I would have trouble fixing this profession after all the attacks directed against the development team. But then again I'm not paid the big bucks like they are

Oh yeah, there will be low-mid level combat droids. People will have to buy them from a vendor because DEs will have been scrapped. I suppose I wouldn't complain much if being scrapped meant a free FSCS.

Honestly, these people need to lose a fingernail every week until the job is done. When I compare what a MDE can make with what the masters of other crafts can make it only pisses me off further. BLL is the biggest goddamned joke and an insult to boot.

I and maybe a few other DEs believe JustG and the other incompetents are just blowing more smoke up our asses. It's going to take a lot to make up anything to most of us. Jan-Feb for some decent treatment, not just of us but of the game as a whole? /yank!

Agreed... they won't do anything. All they've doneis deceive us thus far, why not continue. Its just sad, that even such a deceptive promise as this and we jump because of how bad even the communication has been.

Well, I read that yesterday too... but I think I will keep a level of skepticism.

Besides, telling us that combat droids are going to be added over the next three months still isn't telling us our existing problems will be fixed. I seriously doubt any droid-fixes will be in the december fix like G suggests *may* happen. Heard that one far too many times
