Also i was wondering which square should I get first? the far right gives me more droid but with these modules they won't be to good. Should i get the far left gives me more modules but no new droids?

Please help me out here. Then sooner i get a square the better

Read the stickies for the grind. It doesn't matter much which box you get first since you won't make much until you get several lines filled. It used to be get to the probots first, but that has changed since the new modules were added.

ok i haven't mastered this prof yet but this is how i've been told to do it and its working well.

1) start by make shed loads of mouse droids .and get blueprints one

2) make even more Adv. mouse droids with, the two entertain modules and armour (to get more xp), get blueprints 2

3) once you do this you will beable to make Advanced Droid frames for about 450-500XP per frame in practice. Advanced frames only need 150steel and 70 fiberplast. but you will needlots ofsteel and fibersplast to do this.

4) keep doing this till you have blueprints 4 then start on the other trees.

hope this has helped

Yes, if this is your first profession mastery getting resources will be difficult.

It took me about six weeks to complete DE b/c i did not have the funding for resources (and i refuse to buy resources off the market.

Here are some ways to get money/resources to help fund your grind (some of these are very basic):

1) Get either rifles, pistols, or carbineer 3 to double your pay out from survey missions. Do a massive amount of survey missions and buy heavy mineral and chem harvs.

2) Join a guild. Usually people in guilds pool their resources and an established crafter may give you extra resources he/she doesnt want anymore for you to grind on. (This is what happened to me. It really helped.)

3) Start a small shop outside a major city. If you have Master Artisan (most MDEs do) sell backpacks, newbee armor, droid batteries, and possibly vehicles to fund your harvesters.

4) Grab enough combat skills to do Jabba's theme park and a factional theme park and auction off the loot. (As an example I just made a fencer on Sunrunner. I got the Ad Banner from Jabba's theme park and sold in on the auction forum for 350k. This is alot of cash for a new character)

If you do all of these things you should get it done fast.

I did number one and two. I wish i had done number three earlier and known about number four but i was new here and didn't know how to make money.

I dont remember where i read it. It may be in one of the stickies above. You need to have all or most of your lots dedicated to pulling up steel and fiberplast so that you can make advanced droid frames. Once you have the resources, and made a Chain-Crafting macro you can get to MDE very fast. The limiting factor is resources and money.

DE was my first Elite crafting prof. At the time I had Master Artisan, and Novice Rifleman. Being a wookiee allowed me to craft and use fairly reasonable bowcasters, which I used on Imperial missions for just over 1k a mission. Taking two at a time and spending a couple of hours at the weekend soon built up enough cash to keep me afloat.

I also had a shop where I sold all the droids I could make whilst on my way up the trees, which actually helped quite a bit. Once I had Blueprints 4 I had no problem selling R2's and R3's with Med modules and item storage in them for over 40k a pop.

Whilst this brought in a little cash I still had to run missions continuously and was always running out of money. If that happened I just had to put DE on the backburner and shoot more rebel scum. You can make about 10k an hour quite easily from Imp missions.

Even once I got to MDE it took quite a while to build up a decent stock (I might even suggest that now, 6 months later i'm just about there) and a reputation for my droids.

Hehe, if you're not a fan of grinding that first box outta Novice is going to seem terrible. Just keep going, and in a few days/weeks you'll have it done. Once you have blueprints one, there are creative ways out there to make the continued journey to MDE more fun and possibly profitable. Good Luck, and try to remember that the grind you're on is what is keeping your future business competitors out of DE.
