I didn't even notice that. I guess the Holocroner DEs reported on this or something.
I don't think the overall DE community (that wants to be DE and isn't just Holocroning) will always be the same.
GarVa, any attempt you make to 'socially engineer' our community (or lack thereof) with the 'Holocroners' isn't going to work.

Sintrosi made her post for a reason and a very good one.
I would think that if we see "How do I grind to MDE in 7 hours?", that person's gonna get flamed. No two ways about it.
The only other option we'd have would be to collectively decide to not hand out that information.
Seemed to me that putting up a sticky answering that well worn-out question was a good thing that kept the forum free of 'rabble' posts and let us stay on topic.
...(as if we had some real information to discuss. Not.)

So, the subtext is that we are supposed to be all nice and snuggly to people who come in, tell us how much our profession sucks, how much the people who play it and love it are nuts, and demand The Amazing Wonder Macro?
Yea...I guess so. GarVa hasn't shown up yet to explain what he was talking about here.
Social engineering of this kind never works. You can't simply tell people to be nice to each other all the time and expect it to fly.
Myguess is that, instead of this being just a forum issue, we might start seeing Holocron DEs that will have a hard time getting trained in game.
I wish Sintrosi's post was back. Now we have to deal with all these "How do I macro..." posts all over again.

I think they must have thought we were singling out the Holocron DE crowd for some kind of 'Hate-fest'.
